Saluti carissimi! Maurizio.
It was fantastic to see this after all these many years. If you look closely,at the very last shot in the clip, the very pretty waitress in The Blue Grotto Cafe, is a very young SOFIA LOREN! She is on the very far right side of the screen. Her beauty is unmistakable even at that early age! She's only about 17 years old in this film, she appeared in it right after she finished shooting Quo Vadis for MGM.

Stunningly beautiful black and white photography, at least as far as I can tell seeing it on a few square inches of computer monitor. I'd love to watch the film in a theatre, or at least on DVD.
I bought the Original MGM Record in Berlin. It's a Record rom 1955 and only two tracks have been released. A Side: Rhumba Anna, B Side: I loved you (non dimenticar).
This is actually the voice of Flo Sandon's (plural!). Sandon's dubbed both of the Mangano vocals in the movie, ....and what an amazing voice to perfect the visuals. These music interludes are the height of postwar Continental glamour. Hypnotic footage !!
thanks brother your the man .... although i cant read it .... now if i only can find this version of the song ... everytime i download this song english versions come out
Thanks very much for posting this. I'm a fan of this song - request it every chance I get from live jazz bands :) Although I'm not familiar with the movie, it's b/w has a magical quality no longer found today. Thanks again!
Thanks for posting this clip. I'm a great fan of Italian movies, old and new, but the 40's and 50's were no doubt Golden Years for the Italian movie industry. Both the less known "Anna" and the famous "Bitter Rice" should count among the Top 10
Beautiful noir cinematography. And Vittorio Gassman is bad either ;-)

at 1;24 She glances at bartender V. Gassman with a look as if to say "it's over between us"
at 1;26 He has a mixture of emotions showing on his face as he realizes it's finished .
at 1;35 She cast one more glance at him with disdain showing on
her face and indicatigno finality.
Great movie I want to see it again

sempre a te vicino.

Google directed me to this same clip as posted by Jessyhoho on YouTube. These lyrics are very close if not the exact sung in this video.
