Thinking about genre-typical playing and pentatonics (or whatever) some tones just don't wanna be played. Thus i believe one could find the same riff by oneself. In this example the end of the riff is clearly different (more challenging in the bvb song). The interval-order of the first notes they play in this riff is quite common in hc and phc...
