@bibliothecary08 well we know for sure that Helgen (the starting town) was destroyed by a dragon (which is how your character will be able to escape execution)

@danlevm1 yeah... now, when God Rays are properly implemented, they look dazzlingly real, just as crepuscular rays would appear in the real world. These "Oblivi-rays" are kind of like screen-space godrays, which is the best you can do with Oblivion's creaky old engine. I am SURE that if Skyrim doesn't have the new photorealistic godrays, then we can mod it to include them. :)

Play in Oblivion is not as exciting as the earlier atmosphere, which was in Morrowind has disappeared. It's boring.

Play in Morrowind I liked more.

@ILoveEpicMusic you're actually waiting for Andoran? You might be waiting for years. It's pretty much being slapped together by a misfit group of coders and hackers, and the project lacks any real leadership. Otherwise, they would have released the project by now. And anyway, Skyrim is going to totally eclipse most (if not all) of their work, essentially burying it (even if it does get released at some point). Yes, Cyrodiil's countryside is boring compared to Morrowind.
