The guy in Virginia you're talking about is Don Colie. There's also another man that does turnkey KITTs for 45 grand that is in Florida....Mark Scrivani is his name. His website is MarksCustomKits. He does real good work and i have bought stuff from him for my last KITT replica i had. I had Don Colie's scanner once in my KITT, and it had a Great sweeping effect, and VERY true to the TV show's scanner!! Brenon Fulbright makes the KITT scanner with the sound box, with the "woo woo" sound to it.

My friend has the knight rider car but his car is not in such great condition. I don't think his red lights work and i don't believe he has the inside done like that.

Armored glasses, armored doors, opening of doors by means of voice, remote control of the car to drive him without occupants. screens lcd, sensors, night vision, etc. also has a computer that responds to voice controls. I believe that it is the true Knight Rider

There's a guy in Virginia who will make you a complete turn-key car. Find you the Firebird, restore it to original condition, then completely convert it to a KITT. He was charging $35,000 for a seaon 1-3 car, and $40,000 for a season 4 car.
