@SolarArcher@SolarArcher I am working on a hack for this one. It'll be playable on emulator pretty soon. I redesigned 10 maps out of 16 for now. It'll be a completely whole different game than the original one! I just posted a video response lower in this page about it! :)
u have a turbo controler or cheats on? Because I have spent days trying to kill that fucking boss shooting at him for hours and it has done nothing to him after hours, and I had my gun upgraded 2x.
@Bob0p When you go in through the door don't move just stand where you are and fire the grenades.... he'll touch you twice and that itz...fire till dead
one of my favorite games of all time...sadly enough i have never could get past the seventh level. and a lot of times i had trouble beating the crab boss too.
i was never too good in playing games from this era but i always loved the music back then and now i love it even more , the graphics simplicity was awesome although playablity was quite tough.
festers quest is almost a direct copy, but somewhere along the lines they fucked it up beyond saving. especially when they removed the final upgraded gun and made the wave gun that colided with the walls the final gun. i mean seriously..? the final upgraded gun fires in a wide waving pattern and the bullets collide with the walls and other objects while the majority of the game is played in tight confined areas!?! most of the time the bullet could only go like an inch in front of you. It got a sequel on sega genesis for some reason that frankly wasn't terribly good from what i remember. I remember the controls on it being utterly horrible and in a lot of ways the NES original actually looked better.
play the sequel on the Game Boy Color Blaster Master: Enemy Below Its more like the original game.
I was totally disappointed with the Genesis Version. The controls were terrible. The gameplay wasnt fun. I had thought a 16 bit Blaster Master would have been awesome.
Thats why i refer to Super Metroid as an example. Blaster Master done like that would rock hard.
Id love so much to see this game get the "Megaman 9 treatment"

this was one of those games that deserved a SNES / Super Famicom sequel.
Imagine this with Super Metroid style graphics.
This was the first game i remember that called the enemies at the end of the stage "Bosses"
and man did it have some huge bosses.
My jaw dropped when i first played this game.
Even now, over 20 years later this games graphics and gameplay stand out.
