If Arturo wants to carry on the spirit of the (real) Lurkers, then he should ad something to the name like 'AB's Lurkers' or something similar - remember The Ruts adding D.C to their name when Malcom Owen died?
Yousuck! I have seen The Lurkers recently at Rockers in Glasgow as the main act, and at the ABC supporting The Buzzcocks. Let me tell you that The Lurkers are the real thing. Arturo is a real punk with genuine stage persona and 'tude. Do yourself a favour folks, for a great fun band who deliver what the crowd wants see The Lurkers.

The lurkers with Howard wall etc ...wouldn't dress up as plastic punks with mohawks..Nobody looked like that in the late 70's....It was made up by the Sun etc...Anyway Of cours Arturo was an original lurker but personly i think his best work was with the mighty Pinpoint...Love ' Richmond' Toodle pip...
the lead singer of the lurkers just lives about 20yards from where i live in haltwhistle in the north east of england.hes never changed since he was on tv and hes since touring the country.

I saw these guys several times in 1977, at the Roxy & The Nashville Rooms
They were the best band to come out of the punk movement, and it's a real shame to see this pathetic crap on the telly.
