"Believe" is such a horrible concept... and why does the coin toss always gives either head, "believe there is some God", or tails "believe there isn't any God"?
Devils, man-made Devils forged the coin thin, and bought so many minds with it...
@AnOceanOfStars Stupidity is also a horrible concept, still it is one of the greatest forces in the world if people are massed up.
+ Believe and hope utilized on the right moments makes it a very powerfull tool, if you don't loose sight on reality.
I would say the concept of mass religion is horrible, rejects logic/nature laws, massed up mind control, etc. A unintellectual and inferior concept if it is massed up.
No, i believe god and satan are weak metaphores of our conscience. I also believe that people who believe in them do to a certain degree understand the relationship between everything that lives. They just accept the wrong ideas because it has some truth in it, that truth being mostly a feeling. A lot of people tell me "i don't really believe everything the bible says, but i do believe there is some kind of god".
@Vannius6 This is very thoughtful Vannius and I thought the same way for a long time. If you're implying there's a mystical nature to our mind and the universe, I disagree. However we do use our minds differently when we pray, invoke, evoke, meditate, etc... and I wonder if western science has uncovered or is persuing to uncover how that is. Magick and the occult, like every religion, fill our desire to push beyond the boundaries of the natural. To no avail, Pan is All there is.
@Vannius6 Weak? If the metaphores god was so weak it wouldn't have such a great influence. Still depends how you believe in it (literally, symbolic, etc).
If you bring the traits of this archtypes to a certain lvl you will gain some atavistic knowledge. Depends which archtype and how that you react on it.
