  • john carlson is my cuz

  • Listen my brother told me there two things in sports you have to accept, dont put no nba player in the same league as MICHEAL JORDAN or dont put no WR in the same league as JERRY "DA GREAT" RICE.....I say no more

  • Oh, to all you San Fran fags, say goodbye to your team. They will soon be know as the Santa Clara 49ers LOL. Maybe you guys could get out of that rut you've been stuck in since Steve Young retired with a fresh start in a new town.

  • @CDiddy51 : Just because they're moving to Santa Clara doesn't mean they wont still be the SF 49ers. Giants and Jets play in New Jersey. They're still the New York Giants and New York Jets. The owner York already said that they will always be the SF 49ers and will never change the name even if they move to Santa Clara. You do know that Santa Clara is only a 30 min drive out of SF, right?

  • @kavaholic trust me, he doesn't know that. I don't think he's too into maps, or any kind of book(s), for that matter.

  • CDIDDY IZ THA MOST HATED BITCH ON HERE HAHAHAHA SEACOCKS SUCK DICK!!!

  • y all the hateness between cdiddy51 and stubkar? i like to find peeple that have money to suck dick for drugs. either of you like? mayb at same time? soordfite in my mouff?

  • Who is Steve Largent?

  • @gordonjlightfoot you have got to be kidding me...

  • @gordonjlightfoot Steve Largent was a slow white dude that was very much overrated.

  • @vanmac96 Yea all those records he broke were overated as well. Dumbass.

  • @CDiddy51 When your the only viable option on a horrible team, then yes, one's stats (which mean nothing) will be inflated. And yes records are overrated dumbass....just like your boyfriend Steve Largent.

  • @vanmac96 Get your facts straight, the seahawks were pretty good with Largent. The made the playoffs several times in the 80's even going to the AFC championship game. Oh, and that is ruh-tarded logic. Being the only option on a horrible team does NOT inflate stats. You become the sole focus of that defense and they shut you down. Look at Randy Moss when he was in Oakland, TO in Buffalo or best yet Calvin Johnson in Detroit. Game set match, I win, you lose.

  • @CDiddy51 Randy Moss quit on his team in Oakland. Calvin Johnson had a great year two years ago but i guess 1300+ and 12 tds isn't good in your delusional mind. So what did you win?

  • @vanmac96 Yes Calvin Johnson did have a good year two years ago, but because he is the only one on that team that is a playmaker (not now with Burleson, Pettigrew, who wil improve more this year and Best) but he was shut down last season and his rookie season due to all the triple, yes triple not double teams he faced. He is the most talented WR in the NFL IMO, and he needs some help to draw coverage off him. Teams need a good compliment if they want their #1's to produce like #1's.

  • @CDiddy51 Hi again! I just wanted to let you know that I posted a poll on a fantasy football site. These folks are pretty smart when it comes to football. Maybe smarter than you. The poll asks people to choose who was superior, Largent or Rice, from a season to season standpoint. I also give the option to say that they were "equals". I'll keep you posted as to the results.

Feel free to reply with some more of your hypersensitive and overly defensive zingers!

  • @stubkar why would you go and ask those fantasy football nerds anything regarding football? Just because someone is a good fantasy player doesn't make him a good player in real life. Seriously man...

Give me a link to this site. I want to actually see it, and not have you post back 2 days later without ever making a poll.

  • @CDiddy51 Great Logic.

This argument started on the preface that you believed Largent's stats were, seasonally, as good as Rice's. Yet you disregard fantasy football, which is based solely on STATS.

Aren't stats the prime factor on whether or not a skill position player goes into the Hall of Fame, football's highest honor?

Any wr's in the Hall without great stats, relative to their era?

Ironically, you misspelled "Wunderlich" before. It's a test used to measure a person's intelligence.

  • @stubkar First off, I never even mentioned the wonderlic test, so IDK where you're getting that from. Don't try to be a spelling nazi either, because I'm sure you make typos or spell shit wrong also. Second, asking a fantasy football nerd about real football is like asking someone who plays call of duty about being a soldier. They don't relate. Third, Largent and Rice played in different eras with different rules. Playing WR was easier for Rice, and the fact their #'s are comparable are amazing.

  • @CDiddy51 Did you just say that Largents numbers are comparable to Rices? Did you flunk math? Do you know what comparable even means? Did you flunk english?

Burger King is comparable to Wendy's. Crest is comparable to Colgate. Largent is NOT comparable to Rice.

  • @zepset1 Mother fucker, you joined Youtube yesterday. I'll bet anything you are stubkar, trolling it up with another profile. STFU and go get a job. I think its time for you to move out of your mom's basement.

  • @CDiddy51 I joined youtube yesterday along with 500,00 other people. You're a prick. Largent sucks.

  • @CDiddy51 So you know, i joined to do some research on free agents in my league. I'm hoping to get input from other people. Carlson is available in my league. You are a complete prick. Are all seahawk fans like you.

  • @CDiddy51 Wow! you're a real charmer. Although you're a bit paranoid because the whole world, literally, disagrees with you, you need to understand that I can handle you by myself. No need to jettison all civility.

You mentioned coaching: George Seifert was not a good coach. 8 years w/rice. After he left SF (and Rice) for Carolina, who was just a couple years removed from the NFC title game, he went 16-32. Including 1-15 in his last season.

Walsh coached Rice for 3 years. That's it.

  • @stubkar First off, you are lying about the "wunderlich" thing, because its not there. Quit making crap up, because I never said that. Second Seifert was a defensive coach, a defensive back coach to be specific. He had 0 involvement in the offense, even as a HC. The 9ers OC's, Holmgren, Shanahan ect, had an iron grip on the offense. It was theirs. Seifert wouldn't dare mess with the intricate system that Walsh installed, and entrusted to his finest student Mike Holmgren. Sorry to ruin your day.

  • @CDiddy51 Yet Seifert got the head coaching job in '89. "Holmgren was too young to be trusted as a head coach." - yet he was given the keys to this maserati of an offense. Seifert has zero involvement with the offense? He was the head coach. Don't tell me that. Holmgren could have left (and did leave, Shanny was already gone) at any time. If he was so important to the 49ers success, why didn't he get the head coaching job to keep him around?

Click "see all" and control + F for "wonderlic"

  • @stubkar I just thought i'd throw it out there, not too many HOF calibur white recievers. I like your old school pick, pretty impressive numbers but not too many people know about him. Packers won two super bowls too. There's a lot of youngin's on here so you probably right. If people wanna make a bold statement they better know they history too so they don't sound stupid

  • @stubkar Seifert may have over ruled Holmgren on things like going for it on 4th down, and going for a TD instead of a FG, but Seifert wasn't involved in the offense. His speciality was defense and he knew it.

Oh and still no sight of this supposed "wunderlich" sighting. I think you're getting this thread mixed up with another or something...

  • @CDiddy51 Oh yea, and who would you ask to analyze football statistics? Are you an NFL general manager or something? Do you get your wide receiver analysis from Chris Carter? I KNOW! You should ask Mike Holmgren what he thinks of Jerry Rice. He coached here AND worked in San Fran too....I'll bet he could tell you what's up.

Better yet. Why don't you call Congressman Largent's office ans ask him if his stats were comparable to Rice's. He'll laugh his ass off. Even he knows it.

  • @zepset1 How about you ask Mike Holmgren who the best player he ever coached was? Guess who he'll say, because hes stated it many, many times before? Its not Montana, Young, Rice, Favre, Sharpe, or Alexander. Walter Jones. STFU, Holmgren already has made it clear that he doesn't consider Rice to be his best player.

  • @CDiddy51 Weren't you people arguing over wr's? I thought Jones was a lineman...

  • @zepset1 You though? LOL you must know nothing about football if you don't know who Walter Jones is. Point being, Jones was a better lineman than Rice was a reciever. And as we all know left tackles are far more important than WRs.

  • @CDiddy51 That's why I'm looking up John Carlson. Never heard of him until about a week ago. I'm new to this. But weren't you guys discussing wr's? I just see Largent, Rice and Calvin Johnson in the strand.

  • @zepset1 Hang in there, the Diddy's a bit agitated right now. Unfortunately, he earned it.

Sounds like a keeper/dynasty league? If so, you may actually have a few options b/c people got a bit desperate last season with the injuries to te's. Couple that with limited roster space = good fa's out there.

Look for Owen Daniels and Chris Cooley. They got injured and may have been dumped by a contender. Finley from GB is a great player. Carlson will also be very good.

    Best of luck!

  • @stubkar If your such a 9er fan, why bother trolling up a ND/seahawk vid? Are you that worried about the upcoming season you have to come here to try to put down the seahawks, their players and their fans? Please go back to the 9ers vids and you all can sit around the camp fire and talk about the good ole days, and keep dreaming it was 1989 again.

  • @CDiddy51 what are you trying to prove? Didn't rice pass largents beloved record back in 1994? lmao Steve Largent... the greatest WHITE reciever of all time. Wes Welker will take that in few years. There is no arguemnet for Jerry not being the greatest WR of all time. Sorry brah!

  • @snave31 Wes Welker? The 29 year old midget coming off a torn ACL who has a grand total of 16 recieving TDs since joining the NFL in 2004? Dude lets be for real, Welker only gets so many receptions because Brady turned into Jim Everett, and checks down at the first sight of a pass rusher. Any WR can look good playing opposite Randy Moss, and catching little dink and dunk passes. Welker is solid, but he will never be on Largent's, Rice's or any other HOF WRs level.

  • @CDiddy51 Hey I didn't say Welker is already better but he has a chance with potential and their really ain't other white boys out there I could use. Why you gotta find an excuse as to why a guy is good to put him down? Ever think welker makes brady better, or rice made montana or young better QB's? Shut up with the lame excuses to down play a players accomplishments. I'm sick of that nonsense.

  • @snave31 I'd say that Largent's the 2nd best WHITE receiver (why are we having this discussion?) But the #1 is real good.

Don Hutson had 99td in 10 years. This is back when the season was only 10 games long and the forward pass simply wasn't common w/all the wing t, veer and triple option offenses (but I don't know football) He only started about 70 games!...pretty mind blowing if you think about it. I'm pretty sure we'll get a reply from someone who WON'T put any thought into it...

  • @CDiddy51 OK? WEN WAS UR LAST SB WIN????? THEN SHUT UP AT LEAST WE WON OH N I CAME ON HERE CUZ SUM1 SAID UR DISSIN RICE IDK WHERE THA FUCK U COME FROM CUZ IT AINT EARTH BT U GOTTA GET BACK TO REALITY CUZ RICE IS THA GREATEST PLAYER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CLOC602PHX Fun with caps locks...

  • @stubkar Thanks, man. I'm just getting BACK into ffootball...Spent about 10 years not really watching it or following it when the kids were needing all the attention. I recognize the big names, but I really need to do some homework if I want to make this happen. Yes, it's a dynasty league, buy the way. Carlson's the only guy you mentioned that's available, but I hope that the Finley/Cooley owner may drop one on draft day.I'll try to swoop up whichever one he drops after week one.

    Thanks!

  • @CDiddy51 So you're saying Walter Jones is the best offensive lineman of all-time? Just wondering cause you said "Jones was a better lineman, than Rice was a receiver." In that logic Jerry Rice is considered by many to be the best WR ever, so that makes Jones the best o-lineman ever. Which is far from the truth.

  • @vanmac96 Yes Walter Jones is the best offensive lineman of all time. The only other one that comes close is Anthony Munoz. Great pass rushers of the the past decade in a half including Jason Taylor, Freeney, Ware and Simeon Rice all have stated many times that Pace and Ogden were no where near Walter Jones level. Thats saying something, considering Jones, Ogden and Pace are all future hall of famers.

  • @CDiddy51 Seriously??? I'm thinking that may be a homer statement. I'd put Jones in the top 3 or 4 at LT of all-time but Jerry Rice is hands down the best WR ever.

  • @vanmac96 Well its not, plus like I said earlier, Mike Holmgren has on many occasions praised Walter Jones as being the best player hes ever coached, and he coached Jerry Rice while in San Fran and in Seattle.

  • @CDiddy51 Maybe Holmgren was simply referring to players that he was the head coach of? He was never Rice's head coach. You stated that Rice was the best player of all time, in your opinion, earlier. Since you are obviously the only real football mind out of everyone in this strand, we'll all accept the fact that Rice was a better football player than Walter Jones.

Control + f "wonderlic"....you'll only find it if you misspell it in the search bar.

  • @CDiddy51 We've gotten away from the real point that started this mess: You stated that Largent's #'s are comparable to Rice's.

All you have really done is try to knock Rice. It isn't working.

From now on, try to actually prop up Largent. Somehow. Or you will be rendered defeated by history.

    I'll help you out:

Seifert was only an o.k. coach at best.

Dave Krieg is the #13 qb in yardage. That's pretty good.

Largent's supporting cast was way better than you think.

    Anything else?

  • @CDiddy51 Yo!

Yes you DID mention the wunderlich test. Control + F on this strand to find it. I'm not knocking the spelling. I'm just basking in the irony. Of all the words to misspell, you chose that one.

  • @CDiddy51 OK, here's the verdict.

To keep it fair, I'll only count Rice's honors prior to Largent's retirement age (35, I believe)

THE FOOTBALL PRESS named Rice "All Pro" 10 times.

    Largent only 1 time.

NFL PLAYERS AND COACHES put Rice in 11 probowls. 2 more AFTER the age of 35. 13 total.

    Largent: 7 times.

Let's compare both players to their ERA to keep it relative.

Rice led his era in td 6x, receptions 2x, yardage 6x = 14 total

    Largent: td: 0x, rcpt: 0x yardage: 2x = 2 total.

    viola!

  • @CDiddy51 The playing era can work into Rice's favor as well. In those 10 years, players got alot bigger and alot stronger. As much respect as those guys earned who played in the 60s and 70s, it's simply a different game today. Rice played much more athletically gifted players then Largent did. And many fantasy football fans know quite alot about "real" football. You don't have to have football experience to be knowledgeable. Most head coaches have never played pro ball.

  • @CDiddy51 I just checked your channel, diddy. Draftsharks is on there as a subscriber....aren't they fantasy football nerds? Hypocrite.

  • @zepset1 I can't help it that, that draftsharks guy subscribed to my channel. I think hes more about the NFL draft anyway than fantasy football. Its not like I subscribed to HIS channel, dumbass.

  • @CDiddy51 right........

  • he is my second fav te in nfl after Heath Miller

    Go Steelers

    Go Penguins

    Go Pirates

    Go Notre Dame

  • He is my 3rd Cuzin NOT EVEN KIDDING he isawesome i have only met him once in my life thats when iwas very very young and he was like in the teens or somtin

  • i think carlson could be the best te this year easy he already has 2 tds week 1 with a healthy hasselback hes awesome and ive got him on all my fantasy teams

  • Cant wait to see how this guy does this season. Will probably be one of the best TE's in the league and Seattle could be scary this season with a healthy Hasselbeck and Houshmandzadeh also.

  • He is a prototype TE because although he is not particularly fast, he has great recieving skills, such as route running and hands.

  • He is my fav TE cuz he weres my # and play my pos

  • im madden 09 he is with Heath Miller on the Steelers for me

    Go Steelers

    Go Penguins

    Go Pirates

    Go Notre Dame

  • he really should of he shoulda made it instead of chris cooley they had like same number of yards and catches but carlson had 4 tds more and went through 3 different quarterbacks and is a rookie

  • This kid could be the next Largent.

  • Largent was a 5'10 190lb slow, overachieving HOF reciever. Carlson is a 6'5 250lb tight end. What the hell do they have in common besides being white and playing for the seahawks?

  • You must have misunderstood what I'm trying to say. Carlson could be that go to receiver as Largent was. I was comparing their consistency and work ethic. Granted Carlson has only played one season. Still, why would you even get so indignant over a youtube comment anyway? Get a life actually.

  • Largent was the best wide reciever in football history when he retired in 94. He has comparable number to the Great Jerry Rice year by year. Largent had Jim Zorn and Dave Krieg as QBs, Rice had Montana, Young, Gannon, and Hasselbeck as QBs.

Rice is IMO the best player in NFL history, but Largent is a top 5 WR all time and he played with an average supporting cast.

  • @CDiddy51 So what you're saying is this: If the Seahawks called the 49ers in 1986 offering Largent for Rice straight up, the niners would take the deal?

If you said "yes", check into rehab immediately.

Their numbers are NOT comparable. Look them up. for real. Rice was a 10x first team all pro. An honor Largent received 1 time.

  • @stubkar Facepalm... Did you even read my post jackass??? I suggest you read it again, fully, before you start spouting asinine comments. You obviously missed my point entirely so I'll break it down barney style for your dumbass. Look at their stats season by season and they are VERY comparable, Rice obviously has more career because he played for like 20 years. Like I said pretty impressive considering Largent played with Zorn and Krieg.

  • @CDiddy51 Namecalling. You must be 14.

If you believe that "He has comparable number to the Great Jerry Rice year by year", why does the qb issue even matter? You stated that the numbers match up, even though they NEVER WILL from either a career or seasonal standpoint.

Montana's career #'s are not that much better than Krieg's. Look them up. You're operating on assumptions about Joe

SL's best season was 1979, Rice outdid that season 9 times.

Lastly, Largent retired after the '89 season.

  • @stubkar look woman, stick to softball and let us men handle football. i'm done arguing with your ignorant ass. Steve Largent #1!

  • @CDiddy51 Now you're calling me "woman" like it's supposed to be an insult. I stand corrected. You must be 12.

If I were truly ignorant, I'd believe that Largent was equal to Rice on a seasonal basis. I'd also consider "woman" to be an insult, even though I may actually be one. You don't know.

Statistically, he's about equal to Isaac Bruce, Andre Reed and Timmy Brown.

Did I mention he actually retired after the '89 season.

    Would you like to continue?

  • @stubkar STFU woman and go make me a fucking sandwich. Yes I was wrong about when Largent retired, I meant to say when he was inducted in the HOF in 1994 he was the best ever. Like I said before Rice had the benefit of playing for the greatest coach in histroy as well as two of the best QBs to ever suit up. Plus he played for like 20 years and no shit hes going to have ever career record. But guess what, every QB and WR combo the 9ers used seemed to work. That screams system player to me...

  • @CDiddy51 I'll say one thing, you don't quit. Even when you're completely wrong. You must have been a pleasure to teach when you were in school. Are you still in school?

Jerry rice was already better than Largent ever was in 1994. Check #'s.

You did NOT mention the 49er coaching before, but that's irrelevant.

Seahawks management would have dealt Largent for Rice straight up in a heartbeat at any point after Rice's rookie year. Because Rice was simply better.

    System player? Nice reach.

  • @stubkar You are ruh-tarded. Coaching staff irrelevant? Laughable. So why is it that guys like Larry Fitz played like two different players under Dennis Greene and Ken Whisenhunt? Dumbass, get a clue. Oh, and no shit the Seahawks would have traded Largent straight up for Rice, Rice was like 10 years younger. Fucktard.

  • @CDiddy51 That ruh-tarded comment was a poor excuse for an insult and lacks much originality. Plus it takes very mature person to mock and mimic mentally challenged individuals. You sir are an outstanding American citizen.

  • @vanmac96 Who is mocking and mimicing people with mental disabilities? Seriously find an example where I mock or mimic a disabled person, because last I checked calling someone a ruh-tard is not mocking or mimicing a mentally challanged person. So quit being a PC nazi and kindly fuck off.

  • @CDiddy51 Hey genius...The "ruh" portion is usually said with a "retarded" accent thus giving a greater impression of retardedness used to mock and mimic. Oh yes Sieg Heil douchbag.

  • @vanmac96 Well look at you, sterotyping all mentally challenged as retarded, and speaking with accents... You should be ashamed. Do society a favor and leap from the nearest bridge.

  • @CDiddy51 FYI...that's the definition. Clown shoes.

  • Why isnt he in the race for rookie of the year?

He has more receptions than Mike Didtka for a rookie TE?

  • in my madden 09 he is on Steelers 2nd tightend and 1st full back blocking for parker and mendenhall

    Go Steelers!

  • Fuck the Stealers you Shittsburgh asshole cunts

  • i used to play traveling basketball in mn and he was already a beast in 7th and 8th grade. He would dunk over us all over the place. So weird now seein him playing for the seahawks although he probably could have played already in 8th grade

  • best hands I've seen in a while.

  • Too bad the hawks have lost every game. BUT my boy Carlson is amazing (:

Its just a bad season! Next year will be better!

They gotta brush it off, and come back strong next Season!

The Hawks wont be the same without Mike Holmgren though!

Im sure gonna miss him :)

  • one of the only good things about the 08 hawks season

  • A future hall of famer, Carlson will be our greatest TE ever.

  • jon carlson is amazin!!!!!!! im so proud to have him come from my home town!!!

  • very good pick for the hawks. definetly gonna be a difference maker. already one of my favorites. GO HAWKS

  • I love how the rams were double covering a rookie TE. Just think of what he will do when defenses start focusing on K Rob, Branch and Engram. He'll be a probowler his rookie season if he keeps it up.

  • John Carlson is going to be the best TE the Seahawks have ever had in their history, if Carlson keeps on playing like he has.

  • Good Luck John! You make the home of the Dragons Proud!

  • wow, John Carlson has me pumped to see the Hawks play. I still think he could of done gotten round pick if the 2007-2008 year wasnt bad. But hey, at least he got picked up and is ready for alot more action. Hes smart, charming, athletic, and smoken hott. GO SEAHAWKS...

  • Great hands and great blocker, He has me pumped for this seanson, GO HAWKS! We wont lose a game this year, yeah I said it come back at he end of the year and call me pshyic :P

  • He would have been a first round pick if Brady Quinn did not leave. Carlson's production dropped without a decent QB. He may not be as fast as Stevens but he can block better and has better hands. Holmgren called NFL ready and Holmgren knows his stuff.

This kid is also VERY smart, he got a 43 on his wonderlic. If any rookie TE can learn the WCO its him.

  • cant wait to see john carlson in action. i was hoping they'd pick him up in the first round but wasn't expecting to get a great deal in the second with him still there. tim ruskells team are great at scouting talent and a lot of the people they draft usually end up doing great with us or with other teams and if my gut feeling serves me right...john carlson is going to be the tight end that we've always been wanting. GO SEAHAWKS!!!

  • lol i liked how u used the halo theme

    Good pick by Seattle

    Superbowl here we come

    go c-hawks!!!!!

  • ILY JOHN CARLSONNN

  • Carlson has to be a play maker his rookie year. to have a chance at the superbowl

  • i hope he is but i guess he doesnt have to be cause i hear at camp they are saying heller looks really really good

  • I can't wait to see Matt throw a few td's to John Carlson Go SeaHawks.

  • ugh my hero.

  • He will do great for us. He has great hands. I think he is better then Dustin Keller. Well at least catching the ball hes better. Dustin Keller runs routes pretty good and John makes a lot of catches. He will fit well in the West Coast Offense.

  • he is our top tight end in seattle and with a great camp and preseason he'll start.

    GO HAWKS!!

  • he's the piece of the puzzle that we needed. Jerramy Stevens could've been great if he could have kept his act together.

  • He's gonna be great in the pros

  • Go Seahawks baby!!!

  • You, sir or madam are classy, go SEAHAWKS indeed!!! This kid is a beast!

  • wow matt hasslebeck probably shited his pants after finaly getting a good TE (besides stevens)

  • Stevens had talent but he wasn't good because he's a head case fuck up, but i'm glad we got a guy that actually has a brain and balls at tight end

  • you can take the brotha out the hood, but you can't take the hood out the brotha =]

  • I was at 2:48

    Awesome Game

  • He's no Dustin Keller

  • Dustin Keller is inferior to John Carlson in every way except perhaps he's a slightly better receiver but fuck that. Carlson's the most NFL ready, complete TE in this draft.

  • speaking of Keller, he was drafted by the Jets, and we all know just how good they are at judging talent in the draft, (Blair Thomas, Kyle Brady, Ken O'Brien anyone?)

  • The Hawks are gonna ask alot from him but i know he can deliver, GO HAWKS!!!

  • well he sure ain't a running back with that tackle breaking ability... but he's excellent at making receptions and is very well rounded with good blocking ability that, along with Owen Schmitt, will give the Seahawks an upgraded, more physical running game and a more consistent passing game.

  • Very nice video, welcome to Seattle Mr. Carlson

  • There is repetitive highlights in this but there is a helluva lot more than 5 catches here. Tape it if you have nothing positive to say.

  • Wow!!! firstly great job on the video love the music. I'm sure happy about this pick, solid choice. Can't wait to watch you play for us John Carlson! Welcome to the Seahawks and one very, very loud stadium.

  • Whats with the Halo music? lol

  • you look a hella lot better than pollard.

    do good in seattle

  • haha welcome to seatown

john carlson will be the key to what the seahawks have been missing. Along with some good guards

  • its a new era in Seattle. Im pumped for the season to start and see what all are new draft picks can really do in the NFL

  • welcome to seattle John, I know you will have a great and long career as a seahawk!

  • Great pick for the Hawks! I'm looking for him to make an immediate impact in our passing game in the red zone and to keep the chains moving with timely and clutch receptions. Go Hawks!!!

  • The next Todd Heap or maybe Heath Miller. Not the fast, but strong and will get the job done everytime.

  • lol at 2:59

  • I can't wait to see him in seattle. The offense hasn't been right since before jeremy stevens got exposed. This should make our offense more unpredictable out of the power eye, and pro set formations.

  • Halo soundtrack...how lame..

what a nerd whoever made this.

  • I called it.

  • Welcome to Seattle John. Hope you our long time answer at Tight End.

  • hopefully he will do good in seattle

  • Its going to be awesome seeing him in Blue and green in front of the 12th man in Seattle.

  • nice call luda. mad props

  • Reminds me a bit of Jason Witten - very similar size, automatic hands, good inline blocker.

  • he reminds me of me. jk

  • He would be a great addition to the already explosive Indianpolis Colts Offense!!

  • Future Viking right there

  • I hope he's a seahawk on draft day!

  • U just keep playing the same shit over and over again

  • I saw John on friday!!

    I talked to him!!

His dad is the coolest guy ever!!

  • With the 25th Pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select...John Carlson, Tight End, Notre Dame...

  • well admit it, there are about 100 better offenses than notre dame's. he seems slow, but the blocking he gets on all those 3-and-out HB draw schemes with Weis should have made him a damn good blocker by now

  • He'll be a Seahawk

  • If he can block, he'd look great in Green and Gold. GO PACK!

  • I sure hope that he goes to the Bills in the Draft!

  • I love the music! why do I have the sudden urge to kick some Covenant ass!?!?

  • Hasnt gotten the ball much cause they need him for blocking. He blocks real good I dnt know why Mel Kiper says he doesnt. there always has to be something wrong with someone coming out of Notre dame.

  • yea for real like brady quinn they always downed him.

  • His Dad gave me detention

  • i am so fond of this guy... i wish we could get him the ball more this year

  • Great video of a great player

  • Fuck yeah!! Go john carlson!! Home town Litchfield Minnesota baby!! haha he's a big stud in our town!! Go Carlson!!

p.s. I live in litchfield haha thats why he is a stud

  • haha nice song.

    GO IRISH

  • the reason carlson is so good is because he is a tight end who is not affirad to get hit going across the middle of the field

  • Carlson is an absolute beast, I don't think he gets enough credit....he basically sealed the deal on that GT game with that ridiculous catch, and continued to make big plays all year. I'm so glad he's coming back for a 5th year.

  • I love Notre Dame

  • Kickass Halo theme man. I love that game. ANd Notre dame ofcourse :-D

  • hey preety cool make another one of rhema mcknight

  • If you do make a video of rhema, iclude those important dropped passes in the SC game

  • lol halo. nice vid
