Thanks so much for uploading this. I only just found out the name of this game. It was called Blackhawk is some European countries, hence why it's taken me so long to find it. I only had the demo but played it to death when I was 14 or 15.

32X's version was amazing, darker and more violent of course. Mega meg graphics upgrade with super detail as well, new shadow effects more frames, new art work, a new level. Just saying...your a dumb ass if you think every 32X game was bad. It clearly was a special project from blizzard for the 32x version.

I would'nt call it a special project. But since they had to build the game from scratch it turned out pretty good. Whereas most 32X games were simply Genesis ports with more colors that made them look more like an SNES games.

Cool game. I remeber really nice 32bit colors on my old 32X. It was pretty cool on my cosins snes, but it felt.. well a little less hardcore and a bit more hopefull. I liked the more detailed graphics and dark mood personally on the 32x. Thats just me though... although no one can fault how good 32Xs 2D power was technically for it even if you chose personally not to like the 32bit version for whatever reason.

32X had frikin insane blood and all the pc violence and more animations.. Check out how peoples heads get blown off. great version although if you grew up with it on snes you'll think its better. If it looked like 32xs on snes OMG you would never here the end of it!!...so so few had this game on 32x compared to snes.

SNES version is all-around better. I've played the 32X version, and let me tell you, it is/was not worth it. If we're speaking in retrospective, I wouldn't shell out the $50+ bucks for the 32X addition to my beloved Genesis just for one of the few games available.

Bottom line:

The 32x version is a exellent reworked masterpiece. Its the best looking version with its hardcore fighting, new violent animations, beautiful scenery, extra background animations and an exclusive level. All-round what? all-round censering and catoony graphics. It makes nice change from the pc dos style. You sound like someone who didn't own this version or play it long enough (of corse). It was worth it. Its a pretty cool cult game for the 32x as well.

The Blackthorne for the 32x was drastically transformed the least of which being the new violent animated scenes.This version was a special revamped project unique to the 32x. There are new digitally animated charaters(similar to abes odessy),exclusive scenery with rich 32bit background paintings some vibrant and in contrast to the dim foreground settings which the snes does not capture and can't do.
