Hmmm... This just might have been the beginning. You see, my theory about ZUN is that he didn't create Gensokyou, but managed to find it, and decided to destroy it. After learning that it is based on the disbelief of people in the real world, he created the Touhou series, making people subconciously belive it exists, thus weakening the border that keeps up Gensokyou, and thus destroying it over time.

But that's just the paranoid me talking, belive what you want...

@OzixiThrill you maybe are paranoid (dont worry we're all a little bit crazy) but your theory has a point, but in my personal theory he doesn't want to destroy gensokyo (like the hell yukari would allow that) but hes is in fact retelling the tales of Gensokyo accurately.

I think that (maybe by accident) he found a weak spot on the barrier and thx to his strong belief in yokais and magic resistence he managed to enter in gensokyo just like some random and very lucky humans

@bass99gspl (I think that it was mentioned on Perfect Memento) There he found yukari and acting as a gentleman he asked where he was and yukari (acording to Perfect Memento, if you aproach to her as a gentleman she wont atack you and if you're lucky she will tell you some stories of gensokyo) told him a lot of gensokyo's history, he returned to our world and started to work on the games, and from time to time yukari visits him (or drags him to gensokyo) and tells him new info for a new game
