Kara and I have found that it DOES feel different to be married. Married life is great. It makes a difference knowing that the people of the States of California, New York, New Mexico, Rhode Island and Massachusetts recognize our committment. This simple ceremony is a statement of our love - and of our equality. We live in North Carolina, which doesn't recognize our marriage. We have hope that one day it won't matter that we're of the same sex, that love will win out. Peace to all.
