I've been noticing some of these things Jordan is lamenting about for 10 years now. Its sad. One thing that really bothers me, 15-20 years ago if a child acted out of order people would look and say, "Whats wrong with the parents?? Why is the child rude to adults..etc?" Now all I hear is how bad kids are but I see how the adults treat and raise them, they give them nothing, only yell and hit to try and get them to "behave", then after yelling and beating all day wonder whats wrong with the kids.

My son is only 2 and he sits down and listens as I explain why he shouldn't do something and he stops doing it. Later on down the road I'll be open to his questions and I hope to be able to learn from him because I didn't hit him into adulthood.
