i agree, highly plausible that many jews ended up in khazaria after the 'scattering' etc, yeah sure enough khazaria adopted judaism and flourished, allowing other religions, living in harmony, rich culture powerful kingdom, then the 'rus' came 12th/13th century, invited by christian slavs, and destroyed the place, like most european, some asian/middle eastern history it ended with germanic/nordic tribes trashing the place for little more than glroy and loot, then catholicism/inquisition/crusades

@dudemantwo - Its not that simple. The Jews in Israel who killed Jesus were converts but NOT Khazars. So they were not real Jews which is why Jesus dispised many of them for lying. He knew who the true Jews are and where they were dwelling. It's a fascinating subject :o) People always talk of the Jews but there are 12 tribes which make up the nation of Israel. The 12 tribes are all here but where remains a mystery :o)
