@ForeignRose1 Just practice a lot and you'll get there. There is no easy way to get it done if there was an easy was to do hands everyone would do it.
Saying that Elsevilla was trying to attack him is quite stupid, especially when he recommended this artist on his dA account... that's why I'm here anyway, cuz I saw it in his journal so grow up people and don't just walk around saying to others that they are arrogant. Also, you don't even need to be an artist to know the rules of anatomy and so on. The fact that he IS, makes him look even better in this situation and is completely understable that he can point out some mistakes(but he didn't)
@eelsevilla You're right, he is a great artist. But he's also humble. Please understand, calling others "beginners" means you've proven that you are better than most, which you're not. I've seen your art, they're beautiful and carefree. But you haven't proven that you can do anything else. Your comment made you sound conceited so I (as a viewer and potential customer) had to remind you of your position.
@GrainGnomeART I don't understand where you're comming from. I didn't insult anyone's work here. I'm but a collector of art but I don't appreciate it when an artist of intermediate skill level call other artists beginners. That is all I'm trying to say.
@JVThrillz Hhahah you raised me a level which its cool because i feel this way, it seems you dont get my point, when you are a kid you love all drawings, when you begin an art school you measure everything with 8 heads, so when you see something that its not in that unit you think its wrong, thats typical from beginners, only until you graduate from school you realize, rules are meant to be broken, so i found them funny because reminded me of my youth, so sorry if my comment offended you dude
@GrainGnomeART Thanxs for back up,but...there is no fight man, he is just giving me his point of view, he thinks im arrogant, but hope we can solve it out.
@JVThrillz Its a shame, you are turning this into a fight were there isnt, im not in aggression, here in my country we call them that way because they are starting, we name them beginners, in other words principiantes, that doesnt mean amateur, besides the comment wasnt for your either, and then you jump out of nothing, trying to make me look bad, while im not doing anything wrong dude. So relax dude, and move on.
I've watched all the videos, but cant seem to figure out what program you use to make your artworks. What is the name of it? Also, I have questions on how you start your drawings. Do you start big? Whats the resolution? Whats the DPI? Just general canvas questions.
@VangVince89 Belitter uses OpenCanvas ^^ And I think you should start out with a relatively big a canvas, the resolution doesn't have to be the highest. Just be sure it's not too big so your computer can handle it. Too big files could slow down your whole system. With a big enough canvas though, you'll have sharp images.
I think the breast is placed correctly, if they were higher it would look weird. They way her shoulders are turned makes it seem like we'd be seeing less boob.
bigger issue though is that the head's too small and the lower torso too large but that kind of thing is a pretty common mistake especially with speed paints like this where your not really taking the time to step back and look at the overall picture and spot the seemingly obvious flaws
@rafekazi Yeah sure, the thing with the head and shoulders is the most obvious thing, but if you look at belitter's other videos, you'll quickly notice that it's just his style, that's why I dismissed that. I think it's great how he is able to draw bodies the way he does without them looking unproportional (most of the time :P). You know it's not possible in real life, but he still pulls it off. That's what makes his style so awesome ^^
every artist just has a tendency to draw in a fashion where you start with the head and as you work your way down the body your proportions tend to get a little bigger
I do the same crap but I guess that's what selection and ctrl+t is for lol
@rafekazi Yeah… We're talking about manga-style here though. The style where children have these huge weird-ass eyes with almost no white in them most of the time cause they're occupied with these gigantic pupils and irises… Yeah…
XD I'm the same. I like to draw in PS more cause there it's easier to correct mistakes.
Np. I'm pretty slow in replying myself. Today's an exception though, otherwise you would've next heard from me after about four days or so XD.
@MrsBenzedrine1 yeah and in general, the typical "manga style" uses oversized heads with really stiff anatomy and the infamous "weird-ass eyes" lol
but belitter's form is way more fluid and proportionately correct - the small heads are just common anatomical mistakes, that's all
sorry if I seem to be unnecessarily prolonging this; just trying to make a point I guess, which is kind of pointless in itself, especially on youtube lol
@rafekazi Yeah, well I don't mind lol XD. Other people on YT sometimes seem really thick-headed, not accepting any other people's opinions, ugh… You say something and they will just DENY everything as if their own opinion is the ultimate truth. I'm glad not all people here are like that. At least I don't meet those kind of people on deviantART or FF.net too often.
This is good… but… dunno… I somehow feel as if the chest looks extremely weird. You know, as if it's somehow a little too big in comparison to the shoulders and placed a little too low. Dunno… At least that's what I see XDD. *stares for a while* Now I know! I think the ribcage sticks out too much… I guess. I don't know if it's physically possible to bend your spine like that, though that's just my opinion. This is manga after all.
Your art style is amazing, btw Open Canvas is flipping awesome!

@eelsevilla Your aggression towards others didn't defend this artist in any way. I only sensed insecurity and selfishness.
You even assumed that I was bashing his stylized anatomy, which I didn't. So be careful what you say around the art community. It
could bite you in the ass one day.
