I'm proud to have my name put alongside these two great countries. I have always said to my father that the best thing he ever did in his life was leave Europe 40 plus years ago. (1) A strong and stable government;

(2) A strong economy with a focus on creating jobs;

(3) Support for families, seniors, and caregivers;

(4) Being tough on crime and criminals, and showing concern for victims and the disenfranchised;

(5) Responsible spending, and lower taxes

@2011coolchic 4) I'm all for being tough on crime and criminals. But you have to realize where crime comes from. Eliminating the CAUSES of crime is better than spending billions and billions of Canadian's tax dollars on highering police officers (when last I checked the crime rate in Canada has always been low). What causes crime? Mental illness, addiction, poverty. When people are sent to prison 99% of the time they come out worse. Even the state of texas thinks Harper is "dumb on crime"
