why 600cc ?!?!?!? wtf? why doesn't anyone know how to test a bike vs car?!?! 600 cbr is a scooter compared to a hayabusa on a straight or a gsxr 1000 k7 on a corner, or why not 70 hp ktm 690 smc it will go in to every corner with full throttle in a curvy track it will even beat 1000 gsxr cos it's a supermoto.

Hmm.. i've driven a track day car that has 120 horsepower and only weighs 540 kilograms and the acceleration was unbelieveable, it did 0-60 in about 4,5 seconds so i can kind of imagine what 300 horsepower and 500 kg would feel like! =)

Right, CLEARLY putting a bike with an even worse turning capability than a 600cc against it would have resulted in a win. Clearly.

It takes nothing less than a 250hp motoGP bike with a godly rider to get around somewhere like Laguna Seca faster than an atom (1:22 vs 1:31). No production road bike out there would beat that car around most race tracks, and would be unable to beat the Atom V8 which has beaten the original atom's times around most tracks by an average of 13-15 seconds.

true , atom is an engineering marvel,but we must remember, it is a zillion times easier(safer) (lesser braking requirements) at corners, and off course, no helmets, and manual shift(which bikers are always better at), wish was tested against a over 1200cc super sports bike, .. i want to experience the face pull away sometime, but, its different having an 1200+cc engine between ur legs, and having one sucking ur brains away, ..
