my aunt´s husbands grandma had one of those, it sits on hteir yard, and has done for like 5 years.. the grandma was the only owner of the car and it was in lovely condition, but now its not so nice anymore.. shame, thing it was a 50´s or early 60 bug.. split rear screen. thin rear lights and "laying" headlamps. i would have restored that car, but have a merc ive just restored, and since im only 17 my budget cant take the hit! :(
@coolakiIlen007 its a 50s bug if it has a spit back window. its actually pretty cheap to get them restored. i had a 1964 bug that i restored for about $4500. it was a complete restoration
@tbbucks2 no sold in sweden so its on the correct side. ;) but i think its still relativly rust free, only green with moss and mold.. and they´ve used it to throw old computer cartons and stuff..

Do you know the specs on the motor? A friend of mine has a '74 Super Beetle with a 2376cc (I believe) that so far has a best of 12.44 all-motor. It's still untuned but the motor has an aluminum case, all forged bottom end, big-ass cam, aluminum wedge heads with I think the biggest valves you can get, dual webbers, 6" slicks, full custom race trans, the car is stripped and has a line-lock and adjustable 2-step launch control, etc. It's a really neat and badass car. Capable of 11s easy.

ARPM 3 piece case etc etc. callookdotcom and 2004 season turbo. second fastest. 9.80 and 137.8 mph in quarter. There this car is black.
