unwired - check out eurotubes, I got IIRC their standard retube kit for this amp and was quite happy. haven't played through it in a couple years but recall the clean wsa pretty close to the original tho maybe not quite as clear, but the OD tone was a little heavier and warmer (btw tried to reply direct but kept getting error here)
I have a v3212 that I play a Mexican Fender Fat Strat through(Humbucker, single single). Purely orgasmic sounds come from this thing. Was worth every dime.....I will NEVER sell it.

I told the guys at Guitar Center to let me try everything with my Gibson LP standard after store hours so I could listen and hear the differences between the Palomino V32, a Marshal JT 30 tube amp (which I own), and the a couple of fenders; Twin and Blues Jr. The Palomino V32 came home with me that night. The tone separated this amp from the others by a mile no joke Seriously great tone. Im not selling mine.

Hey man Im so glad somebody else knows what I am talking about. Ive had mine repaired about 4 times and everytime I play for over 15 or 20 minutes it just starts buzzing extremely loud.
Hey I had the same problem. It would just fuzz and buzz it was terrible. I actually plugged into one at guitar center the other day and the same thing happened. It's a shame because they sound really sweet. I love the sound but if it doesn't work... well.... then it doesn't work I guess. haha

Do you get fairly loud buzzing once you start playing with it? just wondering if that's normal, because my buzzing is quite loud on my V32.

i think this review wasnt too great. i have this amp...and the sound is a lot better than this. maybe the camera didnt do it justice.
