  • I saw him in The Count Of Monte Cristo and i couldn't quite put my finger on where i had seen him recently, and then i remembered i had just seen him in The Hurt Locker.

  • @SabbraCadabra Lol, I had the same problem when I was watching Traitor. And then I realized he was in Memento.

  • He's a good Aussie boy and we are all proud of him here in Aus. Really great bloke, very nice. Im mostly happy that he hasn't lost his Aussie accent from living and working in the US for so long. Good on ya Guy. If any of you Americans or other internationals want to see Guy doing something very different, watch "Priscilla queen of the desert". A brilliant cult movie here in Australia.

  • LOVE GUY!! he did the most flawless american accent - in the hurt locker - that i have ever heard from an aussie - usually when an australian plays an american, you can hear some hint of an aussie accent, but guy is amazing........legend !!!

i recognised him when i saw the movie n thought "is that guy pearce ?" and then thought "nooooo it couldnt be; the accent is toooooooo perfect for any aussie" and whaddya know ? it was !!!

  • awesome, thanks for the info :-)

  • he's australian right?? he was actually born in the UK, if Im not mistaken. Im not a fan, but he is a great actor. if its true that he is actually an aussie, then Im proud of him :-)

  • Yeah, hes an aussie, he used to be on neighbours late 80's early 90's, and i think priscilla was the movie that got him into film acting, hes done heaps of hollywood films, but has managed to stay under the radar, he was in memento, 10/10 movie too.

  • Guy should of had a shot at the lead role.......

  • I love him.

  • guy pearce is an amazing actor. loved him in la confidential and memento.

  • I wish he was in this film longer. Amazing actor.

  • His short role in the movie was just perfect. He fit into that role wonderfully. I love the little mannerisms he injects into the character.

  • Well said, I agree, he's a great actor.
