Hey Rick, This is my favourite Billy Joel song and you do it exceptionally well, thanks for that. If I may offer one suggestion, you could loosen up a bit on the enunciation, it's sounds a bit too careful at times. Still, again, a great job!

It sounds good, but your caught somewhere between a live version and a studio. I would have preferred to see you do it with less backing track.

In the '80's I used to play Billy Joel's recording of this song on my radio show and would get a lot of calls from people wanting to know who the artist was. I also think it is Billy Joel's best song and I was always surprised it was never well known.

Thanks for doing a great job on this song... I never understood why it was never a released single and a major hit for Billy Joel! Bad decision by record label executives I guess! I think it is the best song he ever did and my favorite by far! You have a great voice... plug away at releasing a version of this commercially yourself!

Not true, shvidfan. That's a MIDI arrangement with and a vocal harmonizer you hear with me. I am however flattered that you think it's the actual studio version. I put a lot of time into my tracks. I guess you'd have to come to San Diego to see for yourself if you still have doubts.

I think it's just the fact that the key is so low that almost any man is going to sound about the same singing this song. I said almost. I also sound similar when singing it though my voice isn't as stable as Billy's or Rick's.

Can you please post a Karaoke of Until The Night? I love singing along to this song but don't play piano. I found one of Honesty and it's almost perfect in Karaoke. The only thing is they added a very low flute-like sound doing the vocal melody. I would rather have none but I do like when the background vocals are left in.
