@brujobotanico No, Ronald Duncan learnt some Aiki-related Jujutsu and some karate, then made a range of outright false claims about learning ninjutsu, such as his "Koga Ryu" coming from Katori Shinto Ryu. @brujobotanico There really isn't enough space to go into it here, but everything Duncan has ever done has shown no real knowledge of the arts he claims except some Aiki related Jujutsu, which is what he most likely learnt in Japan when stationed there. He uses incorrect weaponry, has no understanding of combative distancing in traditional context, his background has been proven false many times over, his methods are inconsistent (internally), and there are huge gaps in his technical methods.

@dgmgl well, sthephen hayes recognize duncan as legit ninjutus!!!!!!!!!!, but is your opinion and i respect what u think, so have a nice day dude, ur welcome to come to our dojo and to see koga ryu ninjutsu .
@brujobotanico I really doubt that. Steve sought out Duncan back in the day when looking for the authentic stuff, and kept looking. That tells you, what? It tells me that Stephen does not recognize Duncan as legitimate at all, in which Stephen would be of the same opinion as the rest of the community. There is no support for Duncan's claims or story, his technical approach shows a lack of legitimacy. You may enjoy the training, but that doesn't make it legitimate. And there is no Koga Ryu left.
@dgmg u doub that t, but there is written evidence of steven hayes signing with their label, and personally i saw that evidence, there only 2 documents, anyway im stiil saying the same, is ur opinion and thats no affect me at all.
@brujobotanico I'll be frank and say I have no idea what you mean by "signing with their label", as that doesn't mean anything that I can see. His name is "Stephen", by the way, not "Steven", so if you saw something with a "v" in it, it was more likely a fake signature, or someone else. But can you explain what you mean by "signing with their label", as it really doesn't make any sense to me.
If Fujita Seiko had not talked about Koga Ryu during the interview before he died, and if Hatsumi had not brought Ninjutsu out into the open, all these guys would still be wearing white dogi, teaching Karate and Taekwondo! Problem is everyone seems to want to capitalize on things that are new and popular, but do not want to put in the time to earn that right!
@TheHumbleNinja True. My point was more that none of this was happening before the exposure and popularization in the 70's and 80's. Many McDojos sprung up after that. No one outside of Japan had ever heard of Koga Ryu, or even believed that Ninja existed outside comic books prior to this time period.
@jarhead1028 if someone presents a spade and calls it a jackhammer, than it should be obvious to anyone. For those it is not obvious to, should point it out. This guy is no doubt charging people money to train there, using the Koga Ryu as a marketing ploy. The Koga Ryu do not exist anymore, nor does the Iga Ryu, nor does the Fuma Ryu in fact all systems as an entirity do not exist anymore. Only tenets from some exist, such as part of the Togakure (alleged by hatsumi )
@themullettiscool Oh im sorry, i forgot you were at the meeting when the koga ninja decided what to do with the scrolls and who they decided would inherit them. Sooo sorry, hope i didn't offend you.
@jarhead1028 hahahaha ahh yes the secret scrolls, lol. Just like the historical "ninjato" that is located at the Iga memorial in Ueno. Ninjutsu seems to be full of these disputable events, so much more so than any other martial way. You didn't offend me, i like your sarcasm, however the scrolls you refer to are densho. There are many densho from Koga, Iga, Fuma and many others. That doe not however reveal any technique. No one will learn ninjutsu from densho, it has historically been taught in
@themullettiscool Alright man, whatever, this is exactly why i don't like discussing ninjutsu on youtube with a bunch of know-it-all bitches. Even if this is fake Koga Ryu, what gives anyone the right to come up here and jus down the dude. Its not like he's up here saying that his father was the last true koga ninja or something, All i'm saying is that people need to shut the fuck up , and mind their own business. And if they don't like it, they don't have to watch it. End of story!!
@jarhead1028 Im not a know it all bitch, i practised a different martial science for most of my life, however be it of Japanese origin there are many things about ninjutsu people overlook. Having an ability to speak and read in the cultures language is a big insight. Would u mind if i sold u a car all shiny and nice, however with no brakes. Thats what this is, shiny car without brakes. Looks effective, but isnt and ppl pay him and rely on him for teaching them it. Thats my point
@jarhead1028 I personally think that the stigma of ninjutsu overtakes its reality. Thats why usually i choose not to worry bout things like this, this time i thought id voice an opinion on reality, im not bagging him out, im saying using a dead style to market poor technique is not an hounest thing to do.
@jarhead1028 hahahaha taught in oral transmission. Ever learnt a martial art from pictures or descriptions? i doubt it. A densho can depict the theory of cooking foods, breathing and all sort of things. Im sure you can learn how to dress like a Koga lol but you wont learn shit about ninjutsu. Hope i dont offend you, when i say stop reading blogs so much pull you head in and quit with the hollywood fantasies. Densho are forged all the time, in Japan there is big money in it.
@jarhead1028 The Koga Ryu died when Seiko did, and its arguable to as to whether Seiko knew the Ryu or not in my mind also definate to me that even Seiko would not have mastered any of the components to it as for the time period he learnt, simply he didnt learn long enough. So if the last known Koga practioner is dead, and taught no one, than how did this guy learn it? from who? and what right does he have to charge money for garbage that is false?
Koga ryu was ended when Fujita Seiko passed away. There is no lineage related to the Koga anymore, they are gone. Also the word is Ninjutsu, not ninjitsu it is not a singular it is comprised of techniques not technique. Why market as Koga Ryu, it is pointless as the Iga and Koga have been both noted well by the likes of Hatsumi, Tanemeura, Takamatsu, Seiko, Manaka etc: it is stupid to expect people not to know the difference. By the way this would doubtfully work regardless of what u call it
I agree, I see reversals all over the place, the throwers posture is terrible, no kuzushi, and most of the time your attacker is grabbing and not doing anything, no control, no throw set ups. This is not real martial arts.
Ok. Let me just say this..Everyone says that the Koga died off..What makes you so sure? Just because you read it some where does not make it true..This video is trash..If there are Kogas out there do you really think they would teach it..Uhhh No...They would keep it for themselves..Shinobi Stay hidden..And in this day and age it would be so easy..
@GreatPervySage Actually I think they would be teaching it to westerns to fill up them pockets with shitloads of Yen. And ninjas today exist just like the samurai. In books. Carry a sword out there, u get locked up.
@GreatPervySage In this day and age it would be impossible. Shinobi is not a word, shinobi-no-mono is . If Seiko own son is destitude of the teachings what other person could have inheirited? Ninjutsu was relevant to geographic location and families, there is simply no bloodline left, the provinces such as Iga Ueno, are now part of the Mie prefecture and it is simply not plausible. Shinobi-no-mono learnt their skills from ronin bushi, no more bushi no more skill sect
Koga ryu??? lmao this is soo fake!! the last Koga ryu die and there system die too the only one left is iga clan Koga ryu? please!!! ninjutsu from that clan DIe Stop with this bull shit!
I won't comment on the actual skill level of the martial arts presented in the video. What I have a problem with is the 'Koga Ninja' name of this school. Regardless or whether you are a fan of the traditional Japanese martial arts, both the Ninja and Samurai traditions have the same look to their techniques. The moves presented here don't even come close.
The legit styles of 'Ninjutsu' have stepped AWAY from using that term to describe their art. Folks like these stand out like a sore thumb.
From my understanding. The Koga Ryu, (if they still exist that is) have never revealed their secrets to anyone outside their clan. Dr Hatsumi Masaaki was one of the first in his books to make them known to the outside world
I am currently taking Koga Ryu Ninjutsu, and while some of the joint manipulation techniques are right, we would NEVER use kicks in the manner displayed at 0:21. Impractical, and more likely to cause you to lose your balance and fall on your butt then to disable your attacker.
Btw, the actual video is complete and utter trash. The techniques being shown lack any kind of power (no body movement whatsoever, just limbs being thrown in stupid oblique ways to look cool). The multiple attackers part is almost appalling as it is laughable. His "attackers" stand around as he dispatches each of them in a increasingly stupid way while they sit and watch. He makes it seem as if it takes no effort at all to defeat multiple people. This is a shame to all real martial artists.
I love the way every one is felled by one clean strike and all the attackers stand miles away all waithing for there turn to be in the video! Thats the problem with MA, every guy thinks he is some master of some sort! 99% of what i saw in this demo will get you killed! who is going to answer the poor dudes family with and kids? Is David going to stand up? Im totally dissapointed in shit like this, and it gives not only Ninjutsu a bad name, but MA in general! Suppose each to there own?
Pretty useless shit! Not ninjitsu at all!!!! David was graded by the well know Bullshitters, Stoffel Van Vuuren, who bought his license from Ashida Kim! FACT!!!!! David does Taekwon do, you can see it from a mile away, mixed in with some other fancy ass move shit, that in the street will get you killed. No one attack like that, slow and controlled, from a far away distance!!! What a load of shit!!!!
no 1 technique works !! im a skilled boxer but fight like a brawler ..love bruce lee though and jeet kune do :) these shinobi's are choreographer's ..id love to come up behind 1 of em nd slap them ruthlessly in the side of the head and whils't off guard shatter their ribs :) street performers !!
a true ninja is never off guard, even been able to detect vibrations in the ground n then just as you about to strike they step out the way and slash your auxilary nerve under your arm pit which is left unguarded from your failed attack, killing you.. shame Ninjas this skilled no longer exist
oh and yeah, this crap might work against a fat, slow drunk person who had never been hit in their life or who didnt know how to block or counter or even react. its like hes fighting a slow robot in the demonstration, and he doesnt even use combat effective moves. real ninjitsu will save your as if you get jumped by even 8 guys! its 1-2 kill/hurt them so bad they dont want to fight anymore.
NO martial art will save you from eight guys. You better hope you have some kind of firearm, or a fucking baseball bat. If you honestly think one person can take on eight people and come out just fine, you've been watching way too many movies.
wow this is complete bullshit! im studying ninjitsu right now and this is some pussy ass shit! we learn bone breaks and strikes and 1-2 destruction moves. not some pretty ass looking matrixish bullshit. this guy is a tae kwon do instrucor hahahhahahah
Wow dude cool off... it may be ninjutsu just another school/ryu than yours, personally i train bujinkan and well its 9 schools which is combined, therefor there is a lot of different techniques, this is koga ryu it isnt koto ryu koppojutsu (bonebreaking techniques(which is a part of bujinkan)) it may be like that (i wouldnt know as I train bujinkan as i've already said) so dont badmouth stuff unless you know FOR SURE its wrong, and even then just dont, its unpolite.
...Has been happening since the 80's. Smack the label Ninjutsu or Ninjitsu on something and you have a hundred people flocking to you, thinking they can become black clad assassins. It's pretty pathetic. People should be judged on their combat ability, not by what they teach or how deadly they claim to be.
shame on all of u want to fight a true martial artist never fight, the strongest man in the world is the one who beat himself, that´s the real battle leave ur pride on your side and start living. thats the real ninpo
dude... why you practice martial arts or why are you a martial artist if don't want to fight?, if someone star to practice martial arts is because that person wanna fight, like my sensei says, we are here to lear how fight, the diference between us and they is because we are artist, everyone throws a kick but We are artists of the combat, if you wanna solve your problems with peace and pray we don't be here... we would be in the church"
I know, I don't say i'm in the streets fighting everyone who see me, I just say if you are learning marital arts is because you wanna lear how to fight and some day if you have to use it, you will. Like Jackie Lee Temezchaky shidoshi of my sensei say "Everyone who lear ninjutsu are aggressive by nature, If you're training ninjutsu is because you know someday you will have to fight. If not, you don't have to be here"
Don't forget, before the ninja was a mercenary...was assassin just born to kill
Ninja became assassins for the right reasons. They didn't kill because they liked it or enjoyed it. Just like how you shouldn't fight just for the fun of it.
I personally am not an aggressive person at all. In fact, it's one of the reasons I started ninpo, to learn to protect myself from those who are over aggressive.
Yep, I'm almost agree with you, maybe initially it's true that the ninja born for a good reason, that was protect their villages but, after turned into mercenaries which were infiltrating, they were stealing information and were killing in favour of the best bidder ... that's how they lived, and that's whay I say... born to kill
ya learn how to fight so you can protect yourself. Not go out in the streets and beat down every one who gives you lip. Thats just abuse of the knowlege you were given.
The greatest fighter in the world might not want to fight a real fights. But couse they are a skilled fighter they can handle easily that fight, but thats not the point.
A great shooter shouldnt want to use his shooting skill unless he really need to.
But they have to spar or fight in a controlled environment in order to reach a level of proficieny in fighting or else it's like saying you can easily play football when you only practice catch.
Although I don't agree with a lot of your other comments, I really stand with you on this one. The main purpose behind martial arts is combat, the rest of the stuff is pretty much sugar coating. Having moral and spiritual values are great and are somewhat necessary, but they shouldn't overshadow the main ideas. Martial arts should teach you how to fight. That "to defend yourself" is bullshit. You can't defend yourself in a fight if you can't fight.
compliant cronies for adversaries, overextended weapon strikes, strikes that lack power generation and get telegraphed from miles away and multiple opponents that wait until you are done demonstrating how cool you are on one of them, for the next to come. This is pretty standard for ninjutsu of any kind... Are we supposed to be impressed by the d33dlyness now?
you know how martial arts developed right? Most martial arts were made in asia to fight against the westerner's who were bigger than them. Not only that martial arts were devised to kill the opponent, or subdue him. Martial arts work, if you think they don't go challenge a dojo.
Rofl. Actually martial arts reach even farther back than that and weren't necessarily Asian in root. The Greeks were doing Pankration much longer than even Kung Fu was being done.
Also, the reason it is considered the most deadly art is because it was one of the first styles made, and made for war I might add. And yes, the art is made for escaping but there is much more to learn of the Ninja way. Example, what if you cant escape...you are then trained to break bones, aprehension, AND, killing. One of the closest styles is Savat from maylasia. My students learn many things, even killing if necessary. And your rite, it's not the style, it's the person learning it. Want it.
I am a Ninjutsu teacher myself and I'v also learned the way of Ninjitsu, TaiJutsu, and koppojutsu. I loved the video. People just don't understand how hard it is to learn and master the Ninja styles and when learned..."correct myself"...mastered and lived, it is the most usfull and deadly art of all. I have black belts in others and none are close to Ninjutsu. People and teachers should remember to modernize the techniques, which you do. So train with form, no form, and mma form. Keep it up!
ninjitsu? wow... you cant be teacher the mosy deadly art of all? the art is only as deadly as the person who practice it. you must be one of them fake koga ryu guys anyway...arigato
this is real ninjutsu.I don't understand why people hate ninjutsu, and then watch it on youtube.too many meatheads with loud opinions and no respect for the martial arts on here.
thats because the koga ryu linage is gone with fujita, the one that still exist is the iga ryu (bujinkan) by soke masski hatsumi, i believe that you should do more research first, arigato.
Hatsumi's style was refused Koryu status. There's no proof that he holds any real Ninjutsu lineage over anyone else. I wish people would stop worshipping Hatsumi as if he were some sort of god because of the bs rumors about him being the "last ninja."
that first techniqe realy looked stupid but the rest were decent.I think the origional ninjutsu styles (the good ones)have been lost forever all we have now are immitations and some are very pathetic it is very depressing.
First it's called Ninjutsu. Jutsu = art; jitsu = truth.
Second, I, like many other, doubt that there ever was an authentic Koga ryu that could have survived till this day.
To the video: it looks much more like selfe-defence than Ninjutsu.
So I'd say your mistake, calling it ninjitsu rather than ninjutsu, proofs my point of being right. The title of the video and it's content do not match, so I'd say this clearly is a fake.
whats BBT?I'm not trying to insult you i just wanna know.Second of all I don't its right for someone with your attitude to learn martial arts of any kind, you need to have an open mind in martial arts and be humbled.you're not exactly the authority on all martial arts.
and something else you have to consider; some samurai ryu-ha threw shuriken and trained in ninjutsu elements like: katori shinto ryu, which is consider to be one of the oldest ryu-ha in japan today. you must also acknowledge that the shinobi and bushi were pretty much the same besides the spying etc. some ninja were samurai and viseverse.
Second of all I don't its right for someone with your attitude to learn martial arts of any kind???
Are you saying I should not learn martial arts? Who are you to judge me? You can't know me at all because of one comment. Further I didn't want to insult anybody, I wanted to inform. It's a fact, that it is known as ninjutsu and not jitsu.
I totally agree on the part to be humbled. But to demonstrate something and say its Ninjutsu is not right(e.g. Ashida Kim)
jutsu and jitsu both mean skill, art,or technique. They use characters to spell out words and jutsu and jitsu are the same character, the japanese people say its fine either spelling.i've been learning the language over 5 years.if you dont believe me on the spelling look it up.Second of all I dont remember you anyway, guess I'll stop leaving comments cause I don't read the reply very often, sorry if I hurt your feelings in anyway.
yeah these youtube vids are pissin me off yes they are nice but they are also planned out its easy to dodge when its planned out.. at least i'd think so i wanna someone do this without planning it out before hand telling the other guy what to do or going in slow-mo
ninjtsu is a martial art of assasination...during the civil war in japan some ninjas are hired to assasinate...and they are trained by spy, sabotage, disguise, and weaponry(like throwing shirunken and kunai)...
Great video, unfortunetly watch a real fight, punches are 1 at a time, and knifes are something you NEVER try and grab, it touches you it slices you wide open...The punches in this video are 1 at a time, slow, and thrown way above the head, nothing like a real street fight. I wanna see you guys actually try and nock each other out!
this demo is of good quality, it cud have been done with a bit more speed and aggression tbh. I myself dont train in kata at half speed is always All or Nothing.
ninjitsu is an effective martial arts in some situations but tbh some of the techniques are over complicated to execute wen u are defending urself against multiple drunken attackers
whats wrong with these mma guys. Most of them have bad attitudes and no discipline, they sound like high school bullies.now im not saying anything bad about bjj its very effective for grappling situations, well i guess you can't teach honor and integrity to meatheads.
all ninjitsu or "ninjutsu" has been proven over and over to be a propagated myth. A fabrication in order for certain people to make money by pretending to teach some mysterious martial art. Only an art so pathetic could produce the likeness of frauds such as Frank Dux and Ashida Kim as masters of their trade. I am so glad that MMA was born. If not, so many gullible people out there would think that ninjitsu actually exists.
there are myths for instance turning into logs and etc.ninjitsu has already proven itself an effective martial art,the techniques are fantastic and are very effective.I think you watch too much tv,maybe thats why you have a distorted view of ninjitsu.
first and foremost asyo22, ninjutsu is the art of endurin and escaping it is not the art of assassination. MMA is a sport and ninjutsu is not. "that being said" read hatsumi sensei books; the essences of ninjutsu, and history and tradition "arigato"
guys do not put down other styels. im a mixed martial artist(jujitsu, judo, western wresling, kick boxing,NINJITSU)and let me tell you its not about the style its about the man using the art. never forget this.
BTW i think if your only going to practice one art(witch you should not) do BJJ.
alot of things for one: if you have a ninjutsu linage? where from (region) iga, koga etc. The MMA guys that I have studied with never had ninjutsu in their Curriculum. hmmm... quite odd for you to imply that. ninjutsu uses taijutsu which is the body works (no strengh) superior angling and more. also do you MMA guys use weapons? hmmm... or fight multiple attackers, or use deception, blinding powders or better yet train for real situations, or is it for a sport inside of a ring? you do the math..
You have never, ever, done anything in your classes for "real". If you have, and you weren't afraid for your life, or serious bodily injury, then your teacher sucks and so does your class. But don't ever confuse what your doing for sport, with what you are doing for "real".
i'm so disappointed why do they use the yellow belt to defending themselves,,that is use for ranking martial artist,, they must use a rope or anything but not that belt!! hope they show some respect on martial arts and ninjitsu!!
haha, sorry, but this is not authentic Koga ryu ninjutsu(it's not ninjitsu)! If the koga ninja were alive today, they would laugh at this kind of so-called ninja training! No offense!
yeah the second song is from dream theater hell yeah1

@themullettiscool Alright man, whatever, this is exactly why i don't like discussing ninjutsu on youtube with a bunch of know-it-all bitches. Even if this is fake Koga Ryu, what gives anyone the right to come up here and jus down the dude. Its not like he's up here saying that his father was the last true koga ninja or something, All i'm saying is that people need to shut the fuck up , and mind their own business. And if they don't like it, they don't have to watch it. End of story!!
jarhead1028 1 year ago 2
@jarhead1028 Im not a know it all bitch, i practised a different martial science for most of my life, however be it of Japanese origin there are many things about ninjutsu people overlook. Having an ability to speak and read in the cultures language is a big insight. Would u mind if i sold u a car all shiny and nice, however with no brakes. Thats what this is, shiny car without brakes. Looks effective, but isnt and ppl pay him and rely on him for teaching them it. Thats my point
themullettiscool 1 year ago
@jarhead1028 I personally think that the stigma of ninjutsu overtakes its reality. Thats why usually i choose not to worry bout things like this, this time i thought id voice an opinion on reality, im not bagging him out, im saying using a dead style to market poor technique is not an hounest thing to do.
themullettiscool 1 year ago
@jarhead1028 hahahaha taught in oral transmission. Ever learnt a martial art from pictures or descriptions? i doubt it. A densho can depict the theory of cooking foods, breathing and all sort of things. Im sure you can learn how to dress like a Koga lol but you wont learn shit about ninjutsu. Hope i dont offend you, when i say stop reading blogs so much pull you head in and quit with the hollywood fantasies. Densho are forged all the time, in Japan there is big money in it.
themullettiscool 1 year ago

By the way this would doubtfully work regardless of what u call it
themullettiscool 1 year ago
@themullettiscool
I agree, I see reversals all over the place, the throwers posture is terrible, no kuzushi, and most of the time your attacker is grabbing and not doing anything, no control, no throw set ups. This is not real martial arts.

Just because you read it some where does not make it true..This video is trash..If there are Kogas out there do you really think they would teach it..Uhhh No...They would keep it for themselves..Shinobi Stay hidden..And in this day and age it would be so easy..
GreatPervySage 1 year ago
@GreatPervySage Actually I think they would be teaching it to westerns to fill up them pockets with shitloads of Yen. And ninjas today exist just like the samurai. In books. Carry a sword out there, u get locked up.
cassiaro 1 year ago
@GreatPervySage In this day and age it would be impossible. Shinobi is not a word, shinobi-no-mono is . If Seiko own son is destitude of the teachings what other person could have inheirited? Ninjutsu was relevant to geographic location and families, there is simply no bloodline left, the provinces such as Iga Ueno, are now part of the Mie prefecture and it is simply not plausible. Shinobi-no-mono learnt their skills from ronin bushi, no more bushi no more skill sect

This is a shame to all real martial artists.

kefas26 3 years ago
dude... why you practice martial arts or why are you a martial artist if don't want to fight?, if someone star to practice martial arts is because that person wanna fight, like my sensei says, we are here to lear how fight, the diference between us and they is because we are artist, everyone throws a kick but We are artists of the combat, if you wanna solve your problems with peace and pray we don't be here... we would be in the church"
LynxVigil 3 years ago
You learn martial arts to defend (and maybe get fit too!), not to start fights.
Spelonker 3 years ago
I know, I don't say i'm in the streets fighting everyone who see me, I just say if you are learning marital arts is because you wanna lear how to fight and some day if you have to use it, you will. Like Jackie Lee Temezchaky shidoshi of my sensei say "Everyone who lear ninjutsu are aggressive by nature, If you're training ninjutsu is because you know someday you will have to fight. If not, you don't have to be here"
Don't forget, before the ninja was a mercenary...was assassin just born to kill
LynxVigil 3 years ago
Ninja became assassins for the right reasons. They didn't kill because they liked it or enjoyed it. Just like how you shouldn't fight just for the fun of it.
I personally am not an aggressive person at all. In fact, it's one of the reasons I started ninpo, to learn to protect myself from those who are over aggressive.
Spelonker 3 years ago
Yep, I'm almost agree with you, maybe initially it's true that the ninja born for a good reason, that was protect their villages but, after turned into mercenaries which were infiltrating, they were stealing information and were killing in favour of the best bidder ... that's how they lived, and that's whay I say... born to kill
LynxVigil 3 years ago
ya learn how to fight so you can protect yourself. Not go out in the streets and beat down every one who gives you lip. Thats just abuse of the knowlege you were given.
SamuiHakai 3 years ago
The greatest fighter in the world might not want to fight a real fights. But couse they are a skilled fighter they can handle easily that fight, but thats not the point.
A great shooter shouldnt want to use his shooting skill unless he really need to.
mubbla 3 years ago
But they have to spar or fight in a controlled environment in order to reach a level of proficieny in fighting or else it's like saying you can easily play football when you only practice catch.
CRDFightClub 3 years ago
Although I don't agree with a lot of your other comments, I really stand with you on this one. The main purpose behind martial arts is combat, the rest of the stuff is pretty much sugar coating. Having moral and spiritual values are great and are somewhat necessary, but they shouldn't overshadow the main ideas. Martial arts should teach you how to fight. That "to defend yourself" is bullshit. You can't defend yourself in a fight if you can't fight.
CRDFightClub 3 years ago 2
compliant cronies for adversaries, overextended weapon strikes, strikes that lack power generation and get telegraphed from miles away and multiple opponents that wait until you are done demonstrating how cool you are on one of them, for the next to come.

SamuiHakai 3 years ago
Rofl. Actually martial arts reach even farther back than that and weren't necessarily Asian in root. The Greeks were doing Pankration much longer than even Kung Fu was being done.
CRDFightClub 3 years ago

Keep it up!

maceioninjutsu 3 years ago
Hatsumi's style was refused Koryu status. There's no proof that he holds any real Ninjutsu lineage over anyone else. I wish people would stop worshipping Hatsumi as if he were some sort of god because of the bs rumors about him being the "last ninja."
CRDFightClub 3 years ago
that first techniqe realy looked stupid but the rest were decent.I think the origional ninjutsu styles (the good ones)have been lost forever all we have now are immitations and some are very pathetic it is very depressing.
ninja0samuri 3 years ago
First it's called Ninjutsu. Jutsu = art; jitsu = truth.
Second, I, like many other, doubt that there ever was an authentic Koga ryu that could have survived till this day.
To the video: it looks much more like selfe-defence than Ninjutsu.
So I'd say your mistake, calling it ninjitsu rather than ninjutsu, proofs my point of being right. The title of the video and it's content do not match, so I'd say this clearly is a fake.
I am so insolent, because I myself train BBT.
Burny1313 3 years ago
whats BBT?I'm not trying to insult you i just wanna know.Second of all I don't its right for someone with your attitude to learn martial arts of any kind, you need to have an open mind in martial arts and be humbled.you're not exactly the authority on all martial arts.
PhoenixNinjaBlack 3 years ago
and something else you have to consider; some samurai ryu-ha threw shuriken and trained in ninjutsu elements like: katori shinto ryu, which is consider to be one of the oldest ryu-ha in japan today. you must also acknowledge that the shinobi and bushi were pretty much the same besides the spying etc. some ninja were samurai and viseverse.
maceioninjutsu 3 years ago

BBT is Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.
Ashida Kim)
Burny1313 3 years ago
jutsu and jitsu both mean skill, art,or technique. They use characters to spell out words and jutsu and jitsu are the same character, the japanese people say its fine either spelling.i've been learning the language over 5 years.if you dont believe me on the spelling look it up.Second of all I dont remember you anyway, guess I'll stop leaving comments cause I don't read the reply very often, sorry if I hurt your feelings in anyway.

all ninjitsu or "ninjutsu" has been proven over and over to be a propagated myth. A fabrication in order for certain people to make money by pretending to teach some mysterious martial art.
