The demise of Top of the Pops leaves little room for new talent to get a look in and this show featured two brilliant new talents. The Brits award show does not highlight artists like this either. PS- I agree with the comment about X factor. That type of show just takes the attention away from new and genuine originality.
I'm a big metallica fan and mainly listen to rock, metal and blues but I just loves jools holland man, the guy has a musical appreciation like no other, the guys dedicated to music and what a piano player, he's always trying to help little known talent by inviting them to his show, this is a real music programme unlike that shite xfactor american idol etc people on those shows lose all musical credibility as soon as they're pimped by those shows! big up jools!
@Angryification sorry your 30% right james does have a marshall the 100 dsl to be precise and many amps in his collection all for playing different albums the marshall for example is used in st anger and generally in old stuff like seek and dystroy id doubt here he would be using it though so your right to that respect but its used in recording and live performances
@Angryification um yes and no like i said there is a collection like for instance when he plays the unforgiven 2 and picks up a telecaster is he going to plug it into a high gain mesa No no one would he plugs it into the Vox ac 30 because just like how he take a different guitar for a particular song he needs a particular amp. but i doubt he has a marshall with him in this performanc but those are the cabs not the head itself

@DonJuanPickard James Hetfield uses Mesa/Boogie Rectifiers and Kirk uses Randall amps. No Marshalls.
