Moore made the documentary fahrenheit 9/11 which was very eye opening about how the government is corrupt. does he expect the government to do a responsible job of providing health care for the nation? that's the biggest problem I have with socialized medicine, I can't trust politicians with something so important

US is the only industrialized country NOT to have govt run health care. those insurance companies 1st priority is to make a profit. i would hope that u watch this documentary and do some research on the side. its cheaper for me to pay for travel insurance from canada for 30 days travelling to US than for an american citizens insurance lol.

@lee0122333 I'm guessing several industrialized countries in Europe have socialized medicine, and those countries' economies are worse off than the United States' because the government got to big. The thing about private health insurance is that if I don't like my current provider, I can switch to another company. If the only choice was government-run universal health care, I wouldn't have that choice because they control that market. that's why capitalism works

@SethAY68 i doubt having govt run health care has too much to do with a country going bankrupt or not. alot of those european industrialized countries are faring better than america. im under impression it was americas economy who crashed first and then most others followed after. anyways i dont think there should be companies whos #1 GOAL IS PROFIT have anything to do with giving health care. thats a social conflict of interest.

You don't know much, that's why you believe in Germany they dont have a choice. Oh yes they have cause there a lots of insurance companies. There are some who are government run for those who are employed. Every self-employed citizen can choose a free one. An employee can choose additional ones too.

Oh, come on, you can't buy into that crap thing called "global warming due to co2" - that's just crap. I studied environmental bioengeenering and co2 never caused global warming (actually co2 levels increase with global warming, not the other way around). That's propaganda by idiots to tax us more and to keep us in a state of fear. You want to know the cause of GW: the SUN. To give you an idea: the Sun is so big that if it were hollow, you could fit over one million Earth's inside of it!

Oy, stupid, it's not about conspiracies, it's about money and who makes the most out of this hoax. For god sake, never CO2 has caused global warming (it's proven). They say we are the greatest source of CO2, but this is a lie. The greatest CO2 emitter is THE OCEAN (it produces more CO2 than we do in 100 years), not to mention the volcanoes that erupt EVERY YEAR. It's all about money. Next to the sun, earth is just a tiny dot. This is one big hell of heat source. Al Gore is a politician with an agenda. You want to know the biggest co2 emitter on earth? A guess? It's the ocean. Compare to that, what we dump in the atmosphere is incomparable. Everyone: I just wrote a letter to my congressman, urging him to improve our health system, and I haven't lived in the US for 4 years (though still a US citizen). If I can do something, so can you. If you walk out of Sicko hoping that you'll get better health care, but then do nothing, then you will have wasted the momentum created by this film. We must act now if we want change!
