There will be a limit of 250 so get in ASAP. Early New Years party and Scheme nostalgia night. Let's call it Only a Cowboy night, Yeeha partners. lol.

  • sorry to say we invited Denny and his band to our pub and they went down like a lead balloon, good to hear something that is actually like the scheme we grew up listening to, keep up the good work lads, TAL!

  • not a lot to say but i moved to england (devon)in 1979 aged 13.. had this groups cassette to help me get through the move. listened to it over and over. just want to thanks Scheme, it was a little piece of home when i was in in a foreign land.

  • The new sound is great it really suits rabs voice.The folk guitars are fitting as if the songs were penned with that in mind. The barras gig is gonna be a night 2 remember........BRING IT ON

  • cant wait till a see and hear the good ole scheme songs again at the barrowland. first time a ever saw them was the glasgow apollo an they blew me away, me an my mates had a great night, I'll never forget it,best gig I've seen there sadly a lost the album a few years ago. when a saw the gig advertised a was over the moon, xmas is coming early for me. rabs new group scosie sound real good so a cant wait till a hear the new an old scheme stuff, will need to buy new cd awe the best boys

  • Yes, Saturday 25th Sept is confirmed Glasgow Barrowland. Be belting out all the old stuff. CD will be out in a month or so.

    Not doing any of the smaller pubs at the moment. Too much hassle at my age lol.

    Another one of your old fans here from back in day .. thanks for letting us all know the gig dates .. hope to make it up the road for September weekend at the Barralands .. what a trip doon memory lane that will be .. this wee clip is just pure brilliant .. gave me goosebumps and made me cry hearing those auld tunes again, especially 'Strange' .. sounds as powerful and poignant today as it did nearly 30 year ago .. Rock On ! !

    The date for the Barrowland has been confirmed: Saturday 25th Sept 2010. (Glasgow bank holiday weekend).

    Details of tickets sales will be announced soon and will be on sale at Ticket Scotland and other outlets also to be confirmed.

    Thanks everybody and looking forward to a fantastic night of Scheme Nostalgia and blasting out all the old songs for you.

  • Some great old tracks there, I can't remember the last time I heard "Jail for the weed".....................Old Scheme fact here.....Depending on which Pub or Venue the band played the band would sometimes have to change the line in "Jail for the weed" from "Legalise Marijuana it ain't no crime " TO " Legalise Realise it ain't no crime"
