@yedon68 Percolator Twist on the Dore label reached # 10 in 1962. According to That Old Time Rock and Roll -- A Chronicle of an Era 1954-1963 by Richard Aquila.
According to other sites, this song was "based on" the Maxwell House jingle. It's similar, but not really the same. (And who knows where the other sites' info came from?)
@SpudMills People today use drip coffee makers .They might not connect the music to the commercial that showed the coffee percolating in time with the music.
@phunkyjunction Billy Joe, aka Lou Bideu, aka Lew Bidell was an interesting man. I had the pleasure of knowing him the last 4 years before his passing. Around 1998 he remastered some of his "best" artists consisting mostly from the comedy days and some of his own bits. I had the honor of helping him with this, I believe his final hands-on project. I even made the liner notes! He married a Barrymore sister and was an uncle to Drew Barrymore. Interesting man...
...this was a minor hit on pop radio...1963 ?

this song was heard often in the 70s in the German radio. Class music that is heard today the best! Thank you for uploading from Germany.

Was this Song a theme song on a NYC Kids show on WNEW-TV Channel Five in the early 60s? This Song sounds familiar.
