Once again MSU's elderly eat their young.

The regents imposed big athletic fees even though students repeatedly voted them down by a 2 to 1 margin. Now students are paying for a high-priced arena which they can't use--except 6 days a year to watch losing games. The library can't afford major journals, but the campus wants to dump $millions on a stadium. How screwed up is that?

At other schools, alumni provide for the students. Here it's the other way around.

This is ridiculous. Dept. funding is going down by 10% for next year and we're throwing money at this. It will not generate revenue, the stadium ALREADY looks half empty for every game except homecoming and cat/griz. Do we really need to be spending money on this?

According to the msu website it will be about 22,000 when completed.

Although it also states, they haven't even funded the project yet, and if/when they do it says the project is slated to take at least a decade.

Seems to me this video was made to entice prospective student athletes, and thats about it. Does look nice though
