  • Awesome! Really captured the reality of it!

  • where did you get the painted pic of the nurse with ivt over the guy on the ground please, i love this image and would like to use it?! email me a link at snakekarma@hotmail.com thanks heaps ( a fellow ed nurse)

  • Such a great video!!!!!

  • Tribute to nurses huh and people in the emergency room not paramedics or emt s but 90% of your pics are of paramedics and emts

also the helicopters yes you have to be a nurse but you also have to have 3 years field experience as a paramedic that's what i do i have been a flight medic for almost 10 years

  • Trubute to nurses huh and people in the emergency room not paramedics or emt s but 90% of your pics are of pramedicas and emts

  • You really rock. Including your music.

    Good Luck

  • I am a medical officer's wife!

How many life lost? how many life save (safe)? lets all warriors know that they will no long-term psychological trauma; and not alone in dealing with a psychological wound or traumatic brain injury!

I always remember my husband he said: "There's nothing classified or secret about we do. At the end of the day, it's just all about saving lives!", I am so proud of him, he is my hero in my life forever!

God Bless Our military and their families!!

  • Thanks for the video! I am an ER nurse :-)

  • i have a question...why can paramedics intubate but RNs cannot?

  • @XoXoNurseKy

I am a flight nurse and I can intubate, sometimes not very successfully, but i can! :)

  • I thank all who work in emergency medicine. If not for the quick thinking and actions of emergency ward doctors and nurses, there is a good chance I would not be here, today, writing this comment.

  • @M3L4MP0 Stai bene, sai contare?? Poi ne riparliamo, prima di dire a me "conoscere e poi parlare".

PS: io ho fatto 1 anno l'EMT a Boston.

L'esperienza conta, bello mio.

L'umità è indispensabile in qst lavoro?!?! Allora cambialo finche sei in tempo!!!! :D Ciao tesoro!!

  • @M3L4MP0 ma come scrivi, scusa..."umiltà" e femminile, "cambialo" è maschile. No comment. Studia finchè sei in tempo, invece di stare su internet...

  • @AikidokaZen Hahahahahaha!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!! DEMENTE!!!!!! :D

Comincia a lavorare mongolo e a prenderti precise responsabilità.

Ciao fenomeno!!! ;)

  • Hello,im from Brazil..im studying nursing and this semester will be my first experience with Emergency..I loved ur video..its very beautiful and inspiring.thanx

  • Could not have been done better !

  • Loved being an ER nurse, but I am only casual now, EMS (paramedic) pays better in OZ.

  • this video sucks

  • good job, good snaps, and song, needs more emotion

  • rivergal---i've been an emergency nurse for 20 years...I loved the video, Have tried other specialties, but always come back to the ED :-) Thanks for showing emergency personnel, doing what they love...

  • BE KIND TO NURSES... We keep doctors from accidentally killing you.

    The Sarcasm Shop

  • heyy... do you think you could go to my channel and check out some of my videos? Especially the one that first comes up the one of me singing the climb? It would mean the world to me! And maybe... rate and comment? (:

  • Amazing! I worked in intensive care unit about 1,5 year as nursing assistant. A lot of time I helped for doctors and nurses, it is wonderful felling to help for patients... Now I am nurse student :) After 5 months I will be finish my education and I think I will followed carrer as emergency nurse, maybe I will choose military :) I very like to be in action center :)

  • +10 ;)

  • This was lame. I thought you had some REAL information here, NOT a bunch of slides and shitty music. This was useless to my education. If I wanted to see THIS I could have flipped on discovery. Jackass

  • beautiful video, thank you!

  • i love Emergency Nursing i think i belong there!!!

  • emergency/icu nursing rocks!

  • can u go into ER as a new grad?

  • Some places you can but it is not advisable. You really need some ICU experience to be ready for some of the situations that will be thrown at you in a busy ER.

  • i did and there are alot of others that have done the same. dont take no for an answer. ER is totally worth it!!!! get on nites usually better prepared and u will learn more!

  • Congratulations. Sorry for my english... I'm from Brazil and I live for emergency every day of my live. I love this crazy life.

  • ER Nurses are the cream de la creme

  • E.R Nurses Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can i use a copy of this video to show to high school students?

  • I'm also a nursing student. Finishing up my 1st of 3 yrs bacc. degree. ;)

In Croatia, at the moment, any nurse with high school education (4 yrs) can work in ICU/paramedic - which sucks bigtime as they don't have the neccessary knowledge in the start.

Now, finally, there's an initiative that only nurses with bacc degree can work there. Which means 4 yrs of nursing high school + 3 yrs of college bacc. degree + 2 yrs of college specialty degree in ICU = 9 years of studying! ;)

  • thanks. from a former nurse at hemorial hermann Texas medical center, houston

  • Wow, THANX for sharing.....

  • Great video and thanks for posting it. I can't say enough about the HEMS at ETMC -Tyler. They saved my daughters life and I will forever be greatful. Thank you to all nurses whether emergency care, SNF, office, or long term care. You are all angels to someone.

  • Currently shock trauma AUA at OU med. center thanks for the vid

  • I am a nursing student, and my goal is to become a flight nurse after I graduate. Thanks for the great video!

  • Thanks for the motivation! I am a Nursing Student & it is tough going right now! This is some of the best motivation I have come across! This is just what I need to keep going!

  • i am a nurse, but i think its time for me to change my work environment. ward routines are so boring. damn it.

  • Hello Grat Video I From to mexico

    Y tambien soy enfermero

    SALUDOS

  • I am a senior in high school and i am going into nursing, and eventually want to be a Flight Nurse. Its my Dream.

  • HIt it hard and get your BSN asap and get into a busy ER and ICU. It's all about critical care experience. Having your paramedic and working a busy city helps too. They want qualified BSNs, but also a lot of prehospital experience as the one running the call. I am only an EMT-I and a long ways away because I've jacked around for too many years. Good luck to you!

  • Thanks for the motivation! I'm a FF/EMT taking prerequisites for RN program this Spring... Looking to become an ER/flight nurse eventually. Little things like this clip help keep me facing the right direction and my nose in the books. Thanks and I'm looking forward to seeing some of you out there someday!

  • I've been doing ER nursing for almost 5 years now and yes ER nurses burn out. However, I'm a travel nurse and I love my job and have found that by switching locations it's much easier to keep going!

  • ANOTHER SLICK VID ---

WALK INTO ANY ER AND LOOK AT THE NURSES-

COME BACK IN 6 mo ALL NEW FACES......WHY??

THEY QUIT OR GOT FIRED....THATS ER NURSING

  • Fired? What were they possibly doing to get fired? I've been in the ER 15 years and have only seen nurses stealing narcs get fired. Almost anything else seems to be tolerated.

  • I can't wait to finish my nursing program and take the next steps towards getting on a helicopter. Great video!

  • Get your paramedic

  • why?

finish your nursing program and then challenge the paramedic exam ;)

  • You still have to attend a paramedic course. They have some transition programs that only take a year.

  • Hahaha, nice!

  • I worked until the last 5 months in a polyvalent intensive care unit of a central hospital in North of Portugal for 5,5years. I must say that i just love it... several diseases and traumas and all the team work. FANTASTIC.I MISS IT A LOT. A GRAT TEAM. BUT NOW...I'AM AT HEART SURGERY, MY NEW PASSION- Congratulations for the video.

  • when i finish my degree i'm going into emergency too... WOOO!!!

  • I love being an ER Trauma nurse. It is very rewarding..Thank you for the great video..You really show what we do!!

  • I really needed to see/hear this right now....enough said! Thank you

  • I'm hoping to be a nurse in a few years, when I watch this is makes me want to do it even more! Go Nurses! You guys rock!

  • I'm currently in nursing school. Plan to work ICU/ER then on to STATCARE in Louisville,KY Hope I make it, I'm already 40!

  • Awesome vid! Thanks! Gives me goosebumps!

  • Thanks for the inspiration. I am in my second year of a nursing degree and am blown away by how similar the nursing values are all over the world, we rock!!! I spotted the Westpac rescue helicopter there too, our miracle workers.

  • Hi' I'm nurseDavide (i'm the same person of ernursedave) I'm glad you like my movie. Yes, Emergency nursing is one of the most difficult and amazing field in nursing, it takes you very advanced skiils in life support.
