thank you...yes that's right:) matinlo also means maganda in tagalog...the only difference is that maganda can also pertain to physical beauty while in cuyonon mapostora is the more appropriate term...:)

hello...ploning ang title niya and wala siyang 'singer' talaga dahil ploning is a cuyonon folk song...kung baga, publicly owned ang kanta...pero dun sa film na ploning, ang alam kong kumanta ng ploning ay si corrine padilla-mcloughlin, but you can confirm it with the 'ploning' youtube account at makikita mo rin ang kanyang video if you search 'manang jane's ploning sing-along'

thank you...never thought i'd have that impression on you.the singers in the movie though were among the best cuyono singers i've known...they belong to a group called SINIKA (Sining ng mga Katutubo) which have produced really good contemporary folk music.=D

i saw the film when it was shown here in UP and i thought it was really touching and sad. i guess that's to be expected since according to the director (who was present during the screening) it's about death. however i thoroughly enjoyed it because there are parts of it that is really funny. overall i think it was a wonderful movie
