Is that a Sword of War you have there? Usually I use a heavy bastard sword for both of my 1h/2h needs and snipe that crap out of enemies on walltops with my warbow. But when there are only a few mid to low tier enemies like in your game I guess leading the charge would be fine too.

@gentlegiant80 Someone asked the same question before and uhh I didn't know so someone else replied and they said people still play it online. Maybe watch a few videos of Mount and Blade: With Fire and Sword. It's a new game and people definitely play it online.

Ok thanks for the help. The weird thing is fire and sword costs less than warband but I will definately watch some more gameplay vids before buying because some people say the guns don't work well.

@gentlegiant80 Yes, I know that. The guns aren't perfect though and plus I believe Warband has more variety in weapons and other things. Warband is $30 on Steam. Not worth it in my opinion. I bought it for $10 when it was on sale.

@gentlegiant80 Yes people still play it. There are a few servers that get more than 100 players (on one map, simultaneously) every evening. Fire & Sword is more recent game but it's more a side project than the next version of Mount & Blade. I strongly recommend buying Warband.

Thanks for the reply but I have already bought warband and love it. At first it crashed a little for an unknown reason but now it has completely stopped and I am learning the battle tactics required to kill an enemy (not easy with my connection alone)

Yeh the large sieges have an incredible atmosphere and the team death matches are brutal. I find I can sometimes kill someone 1v1 but an archer or horseman will then finish me off. Love it though every kill feels like an accomplishment. Didn't think fire and sword would have few people online however considering it's recent release but most people have said they prefer warband so I guess it should be expected.

one time i was playing with the Saranids and i was defending a castle from about 1000 khergits and when the khergits came up onn the wall they killed most of the saranid infantry so....about 100 to 200 of us....was defending...the khergits was stuck at the wall to come inside the castle...and the archers pounded them with arrows.....all of them died...no one can match up to saranids in defense.....they rock

@OwNDclan Whoever you want to attack, make REALLY bad relations with them then make and army of about 60 more more go to a castle and click siege you will build ladders and attack unless you want to wait for however long to it surrenders

@OwNDclan wait for a friendly faction to lay seige to it, then camp and wait with them. when they head in break camp. head to the castle and choose join next asault. make sure ou have 30+ men before you follow some friendly dudes. you will be at war with the faction that your castle you are attcking. hope that helped. p.s. when choosing a faction id say swadia or nords. mabey vaegris. rhodoks sucks and kergit are good but have a very small empire and loose castles quickly so you have less area.

@OwNDclan ok, if you see some lords around a castle that are youer faction, camp there, when they head into the castle (youl see them all rush in) click on the castle/city. then join next assault. if you have a big army 100 men+and you are at war with a faction you can beseige it yourself

@OwNDclan blue. your white forever, you allie with the different colour factions. do quests for them and dont attack the one you want to ally. you can only be allied once. when your allied you can be a vassal, basicly a lord and you get a village you can manage

@OwNDclan nord (yellow) or swadia (orange) mabey vaegirs (green) but id stick with nords or swadia. vaegris has a big area but arnt that good really, rhodocks are crap and have no area, and khergit are good but have hardly any area to roam in. of coarse area dosent matter when your at war with 0-2 factions, but eventually youl get into more wars and if you are at war with them all you loose area quick and have hardly any where to roam about in. hope this helped. :P

then simply engage the enemy party(s) in battle. or to stop them even before that point, ijust kill the enemy if he comes close :-) so basicly KILL THEM!!!!!! while shouting: THIS! ISN'T REALLY!! SPARTAAAAAAAAA!!!!

(u know the one with the skills)

@OwNDclan first if you have enough inteligence and engineer or anyone else on your team you will be able to make ladders and seige towers. go to the castle you want to invade and it will say something like besige the castle . press that and then build a ladder or tower to seige the castle.

And if you are wanting to start your own Kingdom you need to have good right to rule, so you have to play for a bit anyway to get an army and get that up.

@OwNDclan first of all, your relaion with the kingdom the castle belongs to needs to be quite bad. After that, you need a large army, i think about 100 men will do, then, go to the castle, click on it and click on besige castle. When u done that, you will click on either build a siege tower or prepeare the ladders, and when thats done, you can lead you soldiers into an assault. Enjoy mate

@mario441797 Well it depends on how many troops they have in the castle, if they have, say 50 in the castle, then everyone will spawn at once, but if there is 150 they will spawn once a certain number of troops have been killed
