  • People are ridiculous anymore. Anyone, bodybuilder or just in shape, is accused of being on steroids by those who aren't in shape or can't get anywhere. People that mock others for using gloves, wraps or wrist bands should just shut the hell up and mind their own workout. You went there to workout, so do it and quit staring at everyone else. And no, he shouldn't lean more forward. Leaning forward activates the shoulders and eliminates the main focus of the triceps.

  • @schecter1984 Agree with your sentiments about people just being focused on themselves and stop being dicks (it may be roid rage hahaha). But I would say that you just don't know what people are doing- you don't know how people have gained weight and strength and in what timescale. Supplements are massive these days too- to give people that edge. I personally wouldn't say he's on gear based on what i see here in this video. That'd be silly as I would not have seen enough to make such a comment

  • Its true. Ive studied bruce lee tactics for a long time and one thing he use to preach was to tape a wash rag around the bar or to tape the bar fat enough so the tip of the finger nails just come under the middle of the thumb pad when fully clinched...to better isolate the larger muscle groups. But he also you to tie strings to each finger and a small 2 1/2 pound weight to the ends and do finger curls to break down the mini fibers of muscle.

  • @phillyfanstan I personally wouldn't say he's on gear based on what i see here in this video. That'd be silly as I would not have seen enough to make such a comment. But you just don't know with some people. Some people take it that seriously that they will do anything. The bottom line is that the workouts are where the work is done- lifestyle must be good, but these people of this size will undoubtedly be using all the dietary and workout supplements available to them, to give them that edge.

  • Thanks Ragekz, Imperator1197 and Manc4ever1983 I thought for a while I was going crazy. I think that deadlifts are the only exercise where I dont wear gloves. I use chalk because I use a hook grip. (if manicbassa even knows what a hook grip is, lol)

  • @manc4ever1983 well think of it this way i was 15 1/2 and i started when i started weightligting amost everyday tell m ysenior year so was 3 years of now gloves and yes hurt some at start. and now i workout around 3-4 times a week and ill be 20 in july. but basicly 4 and a half years of working out with gloves . i have callousus on my upper palm and about almost every spot before the the nuckles sperations on the inner hand lol. skin got tough over years.

  • I wear gloves for my whole routine...I'm not going to take them off for certain exercises. They reduce callousing and help with grip. Grip is important for any lift, be it deadlifts, bench press, curls or pushdowns. I don't understand why you're so concerned about someone wearing gloves during a workout.

    If I do lat pulldowns, then decide to hit the treadmill i still wear my gloves, i do not take them off. Because they are a hassle to take off, and put on again.

    He might also be wearing gloves if he is doing circuit training, and after this excercise he will do another excercise which requires gloves.

  • its only 120 or 140. Its a supplemental set to the 10 sets of 10 super set. I superset decline skull crushers with preacher curls. then I do 4 sets of hammer curls with 35 lbs dumbells. then 4 sets of pushdowns at 140

  • wow. i can only get about 70LBS down,but then again i'm only 15. i'm really trying to get my tris bigger and stronger,i do one handed ones better, i can actually do 60LBS that way, i don't know whats wrong with me. any suggestions?
