This device could make it relatively safe to do hitch hicking when I was a teen I would HH where I had to go and let me tell you that it is fearful the things you encounter. I wonder if a network of hitchhickers could be established say they have a craigslist portion where the rider and ridee can register when the 2 meet they each press their ok buttons so each party can feel more secure about the ride then proceed. HH is dangerous for both parties rider and ridee granted its not perfect who is?
