  • I absolutely love this game. I find it frustrating that no one I know knows about it, yet It's part of why I love it. This is a big chunk of my childhood :D

  • there's something about games like this and shenmue that makes them more than entertainment, they're masterpieces. And coincidently both those games should have sequels that havent been released.

  • i heard they were making a sequel called Omikron: Karma. that would be awesome! i loved this game. i am playing through it right now as a matter of fact.

QUANTIC DREAM, MAKE THE DAMN SEQUEL PLEEEEEAAASE!

  • A flawed gem of a game. Yes I know it's been on the table to be remade for..... years now. Untill then the next best thing is Mass Effect or Elder Scrolls. No lie. That's how far apart this game is from every other. Not even those two games compare to this as far as immersion goes.

Want my Omikron 2 pretty darn soon though. If I gotta go through college just to get a degree to make it happen then by all that is awesome I will.

  • this game!! ahh good fucking times!! this game deserves a sequel or ay leastt a remake no doubt!!

  • I played it on Dreamcast, years ago.

    Outstanding OST, fascinating cyberpunk world.

Shame only for a control not perfect, it was hard to jump and move correctly in certain situations.

However, a very good game from old times.

  • My fave game ever, what a fuckin brilliant game

  • Great game? I don't know about that. I'd say Bowie was pretty much the selling point. Then again, maybe I just didn't like it because I was no good. LOL

  • whats this game even about, i think i might try it before heavy rain comes out

  • might try ?!!! you fuc**** should dude !! no excuses if you don't :D I'll be watching you

  • yeah you just wokeup orig, omikron came way before deus ex and all this hd stud and yet can make u fele celestial its amaizng music story and grahics are timeless...

  • @gobelinou Hey man, thanks for uploading this awesome game theme. I just loved this game it was one of my favorites on the Sega Dreamcast, thanks man.

  • try it, it's worth playing!! =)

  • DAVID BOWIE!!!

  • Hey guys I'd like to know if the dreamcast version was different than the pc version, as in content and stuff like that. Was it?

  • One of the best games I've ever played. Good soundtrack too. I don't understand why a lot of my friends didn't find this game interesting....

  • 1998,1999,2000,2001 lot of amzing games and cinema came out in this years..

  • that's it! i'm playing it once i wake up

  • what is a game if it cant take you to a enchanting world...but this game was both enchanting and real...human emotions and spiritual mythology

  • One of the best games ever. All sorta of gameplay elements they tried to incorporate into it. Some flaws doin that.

Still though it made for one of the most memorable games i've ever played.

Played it over and over for years.

The soundtrack and atmosphere really went a long ways too. Some darned confounding puzzles as well. What more could ya ask for in a game like this. Except for more.

  • came out before deus ex and still better graphics and gameplay so imerrsive..old is gold...

  • i love this but...game...i know im 12 first but could someone tell me how to play the blond haired kayl pls tell me

  • Comment removed

  • Sigh, probrably one of my favorite games!

  • Hi ppl, If anyone knows how to kill that motherfuker Gandhar please IM me, plz. I stopped playing that game bcz of that asshole.

  • Shoot him in those things on either side of the head. Near the entrance (where u kill the first zombies) theres a pillar. Hide behind it and go back a bit so u can see the side of the head when hes shooting the green stuff at you. Guess what u do next! SHOOT THE ASSHOLE!

  • I killed him by running in circles around him while shooting there is a point where he paralises and you have to shot him in the back in the blue thing he has, it is not easy at all

  • i got this on pc in 1999 as my first PC game from my dad. ahh good times.

  • excellent game for its time. i got it on the dreamcast back in 1999. it took over my existence for a while! very engaging and very original. it had it niggly faults, but no game is ever perfect, not even gta4! would love to see a sequel come out on xbox360.

  • The put off working on Omikron 2 when they started up on Heavy Rain. That's slated for release this fall, last I heard.

I'm hoping they start back up on O2 after that, since they make it a point to only work on one game at a time.

  • too be honest ithink omikron wil be a unique game by itself...and idea of a sequel isnt always good idea...but then again i luve this game and it would be interesting to see a story in similar universe..

  • Well they already started working on it long ago. the concept art dates back as far as 2001, possibly even 1999. It's still in a "delayed" state, according to the fan blog, but it might come out next year.

  • The demo had a great impact on my young mind.

  • man i always wanted to play this game, but i only got to play the demo that it came with Revenant... i stumbled upon it today and i realized how badly i need to actually play that game

  • David Bowie is just one of the many reasons why this is one of my fav games of all time. his music voice and face just set the tone for the world you explore. amazing game.

  • the dreamcast version comes with all the David Bowie songs, also you can buy the cd "hours<" David Bowie is a great singer and a great actor.

  • I bought that album becuase of this game many years ago,and god! i remember getting soo drunk listening to it it would make me cry..sometimes a good cry,and sometimes bad.--mainly bad lol

  • does anyone know were to get the soundtrack?

  • david bowie released an album called "hours" it has every one of his songs from this game. im sure its on filestube/rapid share or isohunt

  • Actually, the original songs doesn't say "Omikron", but "Suspicious minds".

  • David Bowie - New Angel of Promise

    Outstanding!

  • am I right in thinking this was a slight remix Bowie did with Reeves Gabrels for the game?

  • indeed!

could u tell me if there is a album/compilation by david which contains all the songs from the game?

    thanks

btw: i have problems with playing on windows XP. any patches/solutions?

  • Great moments was live with my DC and this great game!

  • i missed this game 1st time round, only just got it. looks right up my alley

  • Haven't heard this since I played the demo on a coverdisk when it was first released - glad someone uploaded it, as good as I remember.

  • WOW !

    I love Quantic Dream.

I played Nomad Soul on Dreamcast and my best game ever FAHRENHEIT on XBOX...

David Cage is the best lead designer!

Now I'm waiting for Heavy Rain;)

  • TRUE!

  • someone post the end

  • i found the game really good for it's time , but for 4 discs it was really short , i completed it in 45 minutes

  • Err, considering how long some parts are, I find that hard to believe.

  • actually if you skip most of the dialogue and know where to go , you can finish it at least 45 minutes , but you can explore the cityscape for hours if wanting to and fight the side quest demons ,

  • You have to be pretty damn fast. I know Metal Gear Solid can be completed in an hour, but you have to know where to go and be fast about it.

  • Do you know where you can download the soundtrack for this game?

  • Trop bon jeu, pas comme les autres!J'attend une suite :p

  • they should seriously make a kloops beer :P

  • The one beer to have...when your having more than one.

  • tis game was one of the greatest games ive ever played!!!!!

  • This is the 3rd best game of all time for the dreamcast. Love it so much that I even bought it for the PC. Only games better are Shenmue and Shenmue 2, also for the dreamcast

  • i completly agree, one of the only dreamcast games worth playin today.

  • this game has something that no other game has..i dunno what it is..i cant explain it... it 's the cyberpunk setting i think.

  • +1, absolutely, you came inside, and you came back changed :)

  • i dont know why but this game really left its mark on me.

  • same here, still masseffect , BS and all didnt left so much on me than this game.

    Its was really original.

  • @attilagrasl Same here, no idea why... the game felt so much more like a very good 80's sci-fi movie and had a very adult approach to gaming.

  • @PatrickMoog Same here; I've played this game when I was really young, and I still remember it after many years, it had details that really left a mark on you. Like the TV being called "Trashcan" xD The whole storyline was fascinating and at the time the whole concept behind it was very innovating too, for PC players at least.

  • @equirnam the game has no 1 evoking amaing emotions in the player especially if hes playing alone and relaxed... its cyberpunk was not only the beauty its art direction and chracters were largely amazing..and ofcoruse the music like in this themse soundtrack...hope its a gets some kind of remake but only by quantic dream

  • @equirnam amazing game and great story and gold game which i wall alwys value

  • LOL, the ending was so random, I didnt watch the clip the whole movie cause I was just listening to the music, then I check back and see that emote popping up and Quantum Cola starts. :D

Still much thanks for uploading this quality version of the song, it's awesome.

  • the pleasure is for me guys :)

  • Omikron2 is coming to ps3

  • it is actually TBA which console it will be released on - if it is released. With the graphics of the 360, i wouldn't be surprised to see it on there first.

  • most likly it would be PC,360 and Maybe the

    PS3

  • it will come out on the 360 ps3 and pc next year

  • wait, did you have to incarnate into different people, to comeplete the game? cuz i go stuck!

  • OMFG I SO REMEBER THIS GAME! i GOT STUCK ON IT , I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO !!

  • this game had great art.

  • The song is David Bowie's New Angels of Promise.i love this game!^^

  • And here I was, thinking I was the only one who ever played this game!

Really, this never got that much attention at all! I'm ready for Omikron 2, how bout you?!

  • you pleasure is mine :)

  • Zomg~ I remember this game! I remember the demo and the part when you almost do his wife >>;

I'm so gonna try and find this game! Great upload and pics! =3

  • drink quanta cola, the happy day drink

  • Very similar experience, i spent so much time with the game, i felt so crazy for it! NS was first big game i played on my pc,nice style, exellent graphics at that time(99 i guess) i was quite shocked with the intro of the game, just had a flu dream of that demon two weaks ago before buying pc:)!!! then i saw that demon in the first scene when game starts!..then i spent almost continually a week with the game, then i went to post office and it looked more unreal than the nomad soul world:))

  • Thanks for these videos. I bought this game when it came out and have probably played it more than any human on earth (hope not). Contact me if you get stuck. In fact it's in my D drive right now. I bought a backup copy from Amazon a few months ago, it was not in the original package but on 2 dvd's and plays flawlessly on XP. At the time this game got many bad reviews and crappy games got better reviews. That is because this game requires intelligence and patience.

  • nice summary of what every one here think kekipop :)

  • I remember this, it's like 8 years ago or so!

Was an amazing game, I remember it took 1,2GB in that time to have a full install.

The story and idea behind the game were amazing.

Not many games sucked me in so hard in the virtual world, this kept my attention to the end. And really brave to pioneer the cooperation between real life and virtual life like Bowie did!

  • THE MECHANICAL PENIS IMPLANT. KLOOPS BEER!

    fuck. whens number 2 coming

  • I have read somewhere that Quantic Dream was supposed to make Nomad Soul Exodus but they cancelled it :(

Fortunately there's still "Nomad Soul 2: Karma" in the making ;D

  • it will quench your thirst!! and...FLOOD YOUR BRAIN!! with bubbles of happiness! so drink it. kloops beer. the one beer to have when you're having more than one. :)

  • be cool, be in, drink quanta cola! :) nice vid thx!

  • lool, cum out xD mean come out no ? ;)

  • when does the nomad soul 2 cum out? and is it gona be on the xbox 360?

  • just think in Omikron 2,we will get to drive the veichles ourselves!!!! yay!!! manual overide sweetness

  • Yeah.. im really looking forward to Omikron 2 on PS3..

  • This game is excellent. Its ost makes it even better. My favorite song is "Seven". Thx for the vid.
