The only problem with anime is that (well at least in my case - i don't know about others as in the country i live in anime is pretty much dead) You get too emotionally attached to the characters unlike in most American movies where you just cant cuz all they say are cheesy lines with almost no feeling. And when an anime ends you feel like someone you actually knew (if you liked the anime at least) dissipated or even died unless it had a proper end. Sadly lots of animes don't have a proper end.
