What a great voice, so sincere and expansive, and how European, with that fast vibrato! Utterly charming. I always get the feeling he really loved to sing, maybe because he didn't HAVE to do it.

It's so nice to hear famous people sing in other languages. Not all can sing without accent. Michael Jackson also sang without accent. It'S impressive. His voice is so nice! :) <3

A whole new definition of "cute", and charismatic, too. I think his experience with AIDS focused his later life and brought home to him what was really important. So in that sense it wasn't completely tragic (but in a way I am glad he wasn't there for Berry's death: how horrible to die on that plane on 911).

I was trying sooo hard to get all his 45s and teenybopper songs (after I got his three splendid and VERY dreamy 12" LPs years ago) and here are SO many of them! Thank you thank you! You must have quite the collection of records. AND HE IS SO ADORABLE. The perfect Dream Date, whether neatly combed or tousled he is a gorgeous tall drink of water (or..however that saying goes...)
