  • It's "From either side/Nowhere to hide/It's time to fight or die". Not "eye to eye".

  • If you like this; listen to The witch of the westmorlands by Stan Rogers

  • You can read the book at the Baen free library. Just Google it.

  • This is from a book called Werehunter. It is a bunch of short stories by Mercedes Lackey. The story is also called Werehunter and it is set in Andre Norton's universe of Witch World. The short story was originally published in "Friends of the Witch World" anthology.

  • verry old

  • Why anime? It doesn't do this song justice at all.

  • @CubicSymmetry For that matter if you are talking lepords and jungle, then this is not a little white girl.

  • This song has been referenced in several works by S.M. Stirling as well, it was actually that which prompted me to track down this song

  • heather once again thank her i wish i could have seen you in person

  • i love this song

  • does anyone know what pics were used? it looks like there was little red riding hood in there. so cute! the song too.

  • Oh my gosh- what series was this song base off? I've got the Hearlds harpers and havoc- and that triliogy; but whats this one, please tell me!

  • How old is this song?

  • @oongi The Album this is from "Magic, Moondust & Melancholy" is from 1989.

  • @TerraRose21 seems like medieval to me. even though, in medieval times, they never used instruments and voice together...

was mercedes lackey trying to get this effect?

  • 3:37 he looks like Axel from Kingdom Hearts.

  • Delicious. I have a cassette with a different rendition of this song. I may like this one better. I definitely like the slideshow.

  • I have two different versions of this song as well this one and the one sung by Julia Ecklar on The Horse Tamers Daughter. I like this one better. I am gonna try and put both up in the next week or so. Was actually going to do it tonight but Windows Movie Maker is being a pain as usual.

  • I look forward to hearing that.

  • Then i definatly plan to get it up this week as long as i don't end up screaming bloody murder and throwing the laptop at the wall in frustration. lol

  • An amazing song.... but do you know what Mercedes Lackey book this song is inspired by?

  • yeah, waht he said! lol. Wahtever it is, I must buy it.

  • @N3t393 I think its the book Werehunter.

  • Copied from the Mercedes Lackey website.

The story Werehunter was originally the song Golden Eyes on the album Magic, Moondust & Melancholy, and was inspired by Andre Norton's Witch World series. The were characters from Year of the Unicorn and the Jargoon Pard meet their long lost kin in this short story.

  • werehunter

  • VERY nice!! But you wouldn't know where I could find Valdemar images on the web, would you?
