I respect the gift and Taalam has talent...but the politics of this lyrical piece is misplaced. As many of my people have been misinformed that rich white people are responsible for our condition. I feel the pain but I am tired of blaming others and not being accountable for actions. The poor people of N.O. had days to move out because they knew what was coming. It was tragic but they still were warned and did not evacuate while countless others left. FYI I am from Mississippi the hardest hit...
