I'm going to ramble here...

The youth of the world learn from their parents. And behaviours are learned, and all reactions in certain situations are learned. When you see youth being rebellious, breaking rules, hurting others, it's because of bad parenting, or influences from a young age. Most of the time, the youth can't do anything but be aware. BUT, adults can do something. Whenever you see a little kid, be kind to them and inspire them to be a better person hen they grow up.

hmm, i feel the media portrays the younger generation as more lazy than violent. I agree though that speaking out against bullying/gang violence and encouraging non-violent actions would be beneficial, esp through the web. I hope that is your goal and less about the younger generation's image anyway...

Perhaps it'd be better to make a heart to heart personal video asking these youtubers for their help. a mystery package is a bit impersonal and doesn't mean much, least not to charlie :X...

Anyone heard of The Reblution or Do Hard Things?? It was started by two 17 year old twins. It is a "A teenage rebellion against low expectations.". They have 2 really good books "Do Hard Things" and "Start Here". The first one is about how they have changed and helped people, and the secound book is about how to start making a diffrence. It is a really good cause and I recomend those books to everyone!

This organization is acting like the media criticizing young people is a big hairy deal and is something completely new to the world. Flappers, greasers, hippies, they were all young people who old people disapproved of. Guess what? They all got old and started doing the exact same thing to the next generation. To be honest, most of our generation are like that. And theyre always chavs. Seriously.

Anyway, there are teenagers who are perfectly fine and dont go about wearing hoodies and stabbing others...but nobody really realises that unless you are one of those people yourself or have kids like that. So yeah, there should just be more stories about nice teenagers, but the stabbings are crazy and shouldnt be left out just because its painting a bad image of us. The world is ficked up, deal with it.

@7thWombat The truth is, most of our generation AREN'T like that. The media paints a bad picture of us which is why you think everyone is. And people remember the bad things that happen to them easier than the good, which is why it seems like there are more bad people than good people in the world. I agree that the bad things shouldn't be left out but I think for once the good honest majority of young people in our society should be recognised instead of ignored for once.
