Co2 is good for some guns and not for others. It works fine in my alpha black full auto with no problems. Cheap speedball guns like this are usually horrible for gas efficiency. My uncle had a piranha that would freeze the bolt in place after literaly 12 shots. It also has to do with the angle of the tank, because if liquid is going into the gun that is not good. To avoid that use a remote line and a tank holding vest or pod pack and you won't have problems.

Anyone who is serious about paintball knows that you aren't supposed to use CO2 at all on speedball guns. The manufacturer might say its "CO2 campatible", but never use it on a speedball gun. Plus anyone who's anyone in paintball will know that compressed air is much better for your gun, and is more consistent than CO2, which leads to better accuracy.

@poor500 CO2, like all other gases, cools when it expands. When you release CO2 from your tank, you more than likely noticed how the tank cools. Your marker does the same thing internally (with or without a regulator). When the temperature of the marker or CO2 tank drops too low, the CO2 does not expand from a liquid into a gas completely. If you've dry-fired and noticed a very whitish vapor coming out of the barrel, you witnessed solid crystals of CO2 exiting the marker.
