@Maximaltuner lol no it doesn't at all. There is a distinguishable whine because the double overhead cams are gear driven as opposed to belt driven. It sounds nice, nothing like a 2-stroke.

ive read most comments and they sound about the same to be honest im just about to buy my first bike im getin a 400 aint sure which one of these im gonna buy im only 5 foot 7 so maybe the zxr any sugestions

Because they're 400's they're both pretty low so either one is a good option but if you went with the VFR Nc30 you get the single sided swing arm :P

the guy on here is a twat he brags bout crashin wat a prick ill show you how to ride. plus the zxr400 is the best i used to race 1 after the 125s its a briliant little bike to improve ur laptimes the more u ride it the better u get at controling the bike, wich cannot be said for the vfr the bike dosent handle anywhere near as gd

do you know what is done to my ZXR? kent cams ram air induction cutsom CDI raises the RPM to 15400.full titanium scorpion exhaust.and it is geared for 160. acceleration is ok. it is built for top end. thing is i do the speeding but im not an idiot who puts the videos of myself doing it up ;) besides no good with a broken video camera :( fell off at 145ish. will be getting a new one soon i hope

i have owned bith bikes the zxr is by far the best {loved my nc30 until some f@#'/<r pulled out on me and smashed it into about 1000 bits}
