i HAVE XP SP2 AN I HAVE SAME PROBLEM WITH SAMSUNG SGH-E250

I've tried everything from that chdsk to every command prompt people have mentioned on forums etc and it didn't work. The only one that did work was "hp disk usb disk format tool" it's for every type of computer not just hp and i was able to format my usb (a pny usb). Just google its free and it should work hope that helps :)

I had a nervous breakdown, one hour ago, tell me about it! The usb port worked fine, I was just about to install the symb programs on my mobile that was connected. Then someone called me, I (stupid fuck) answered, the connection was lost, and my usb ports (5 of them!) couldn't recognize the fucking phone anymore! I am going to kill someone right now!

Can someone help me! my usb worked fine, I connected my phone, was ready to install some programs (for symb) and then someone called me, I answered, the connection was lost. And from that point my usb ports (5 of them) cannot recognize the connected mobile device anymore. In device manager everything works fine, and no "unkown devices". This happened to me before but then it worked out after a while (didn't know how) until now again. I turned off the computer, and plugged off the cables, no help

insert ur usb device at the back of the cpu. because it is diretcly connected to the motherboard.

i found a solution for mouse problem

if ur mouse is only not being recognized and everything else working correct then its ur mouse problem to solve it i opened my mouse with screwdriver and cut the cable from the edge where it is connected to the mouse and rejoined the mouse

note -> you will need a expert to rejoin the wire to your mouse and it will be costly

second solution

buy a new mouse

So first turn off your computer using Shut Down or pressing the power button and then UNPLUG it from the wall outlet. Let it sit for about a minute and then plug it back in.

Unplug your device.

Shut down PC

Unplug from wall socket, remove battery also if using a laptop.

Leave for about a minute as this helps to disscharge the capacitors on your motherboard.

Plug everything back in and restart.

If still not working then you have a fault on your operating system or on the USB device, in this case I would say the devices are ok because you dont normally get 2 that fail at the same time.

PEOPLE WATCH THIS IF YOURE MOUSE (Usb mouse) DOESNT WORK ANYMORE!

I Had the same problem with my laptop becuaze the cursor doesnt move.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!! IT WORKS :D

1 Plug your usb mouse out of your pc/laptop.

2 Plug your usb mouse INTO ANOTHER pc/laptop.

3 It should be able to move now. so plug it into ur pc and play. This is becuz your pc/lap is not able to recognize the mouse, ANOTHER pc is able. Notice if you have more then 3 Usb ports.The mouse works the best in another Usb port used

@0ptriX sometimes dust and stuff can block the contacts on a usb port. clean it out every once in a while.

i have fallen victim to this same problem, i was talkng to one of my friends who fixes computers and talked me through (over the phone) about all the things to do which can be found on forums. However, they didnt work and so he said its most likely to be a hardware problem

so i suggest looking at forums, try those things, if they don work then its most likely a hardware failure from the motherboard and so you'd need to hav that checked out
