people remember Cat Stevens fondly as the singer of "Peace Train" "Moonshadow" songs of love and peace in the 1970s and early 1980s. It is hard to equate Cat Stevens with Yusef Islam, while still an artist of considerable talent, wants to kill people out of religious frenzy not just Salman Rushdie but Cat said that he is agreeable to stoning women to death for adultery.
That has no doubt broken the hearts of millions of women

I believe he is singing about the Prophet or just God in general....Not a woman. And is that not an ENglish translation of the Qu'ran he is reading?
