btw on this clip i' m the 1 st dancer on the bottom of the staircase on the left of the sceen ...this was the final scene "paris paname"...it was filmed 4 days before opening night josephine did nt have her famous white feather boa yet but she got it just in time for gala night...she was like a little girl running around with it across the stage so proud and joyful ..we cried we laughed we loved we danced ...bravo madame baker

Yes it was sensational ..The best show Paris ever had !!!She was an incredible performer.Her voice never sounded better . She also had great sense of humor .when the curtain would fall for the last bow she would grabed it half way so the audience would see only her legs and she would start her famous charleston. the reaction was a huge tremendous thundering applause people would screams and shout standing on their feet After the show we would all go to a restaurant Her favorite dish was "pasta".

I just read you notes, can you please tell me if this taping was open to the public? How many shows did you do with her? Was there only one live show? thanks for the kind words mahogany we did the show 14 times .the show was never filmed entirely just few clips like this one .one night we had a techical problem with the sound system right before curtain call so the producers decided to have us in outr finale costumes with josephine on stage just to show to the public that she was fine cause they were many rumours about jo'health

yes this was filmed 2 days before Gala Night..In this short clip you can see us dancers being on our knees .the reason was josephine would talked to the audience for sometimes 10 minutes , the responds from the audience was phenomenal..they would shout "we love you josephine"..she would cry and we would too..boy!! it was very emotional.. something i will never forget it. She made a huge impact in my life ....so glad to see this clip thanks again

it's a miracle already that there is a cmplete live audio recording of the Bobino show..let's just be gratefull for that..;I think it would be asking a little too much from the Gods of providence that somebody had made a complete video of that show.;after all she performed it only a few times before she died right at the beginning of the run...
