I just don't get it. Where's the camera? And where is the speaker that's supposed to be producing the sounds? It sounds like it's been edited in over the video. That's not to say it's not doing what it's supposed to, I just don't quite understand.

Isn't it pretty stupid to say it "makes any object interactive"? All it does is look at your fingernails, so of course it makes no difference what you're touching. You could be touching your other hand! It's just bizarre..

well the camera is programed to detect changes in color in the finger nails, so basicly anything can become interactive with out having to install special sensor on it. That would be great in an interactive museum or to increase the level of accuracy on some tools.

It could be used to make stuff more interactive, like "Microsoft Surface" with out the need of special sensors or table. The rock is just an example of of an object that can "sense" without sensors.
