I'm so appreciative of the school i went to after watching this... literally, bullying was never an issue at my school. We weren't all friends but i remember there being a sense of comfort when we were around each other. Anybody could talk to anyone and not worry about being judged. In Australia we don't have popular or anything. We hang out with whoever we want no matter what they look like. For example I wear a face full of makeup and do my hair everyday, a good friend of mine wears glasses, has acne and never has makeup on. Whocares? the saddest part about this is those popular girls are 17 and 18 about to be adults, while the unpopulars are only 14, 15,16. those of freshman are children who havent really found out about themselves and the popular girls are almost adults about to head out into the real world. smh

Those unpopular girls aren't ugly and they're normal, ppl have weight problems, alot of teens have acne. The only thing that sets them apart from the popular girls is confidence. When asked about themselves they said "I know I'm pretty" they don't need ppl to tell it to them, they tell it to themselves. The popular girls accepted themselves.
Understandable that the unpopular girls aren't going to be able to be as confident or as accepting with all the teasing and such. :/

@dyingplanet99 It's not true. This has happened in every school I was. During primary and middle school, the popular or older girls always bullied the younger, unpopular girls for their looks. When I changed schools, it had also happened to me, I did get bullied by the typical, popular blonde bimbo and now that I am into second year of highschool, I did also see it happen a few times, but now I have more friends and I am a bit more confident, but the case above is NOT one in a million.

I was picked on a lot in middle school and in my first 2 years in high school. People threw so much gum in my hair that I cut it in an almost pixie-cut fashion. Not that I'm a junior, I just said "Screw it! I don't care what people think about me anymore!" And you know what? I have never felt so free at school.

@retainwonderland mmm i'm from australia too and i don't agree. in primary school i remember the unpopular people were considered ugly (had acne, were fat, skinny, short) and the popular people were all attractive. i got left out of games and stuff because i was "too skinny". i think in high school it becomes less about looks and more about personality, like the loud outgoing people end up being popular, but at the end of the day, people are judgemental about you and stereotype you.
