@MPEGK Wrong dude. Pain was at half strength or less. The Pains recovered much more slowly as stated by Konan as well shortened Nagato's life. Pain was weakened as well as his bodies. Pain just had a lot of chakra left over. Just because he had a lot ofchakra left doesn't mean he wasn't weakened though. A anonolgy is having a lot of chakra but you sustained a heavy wound.
it was only thanks to the nine tails why Naruto was even free, well also thanks to hinata. So his sage mode still got pawned by Pain. Naruto just got lucky when he started the fight because Pain was in a weakened state, if he wasn't and they both fought at full strength, Pain would have been the victor if he didn't go threw all the trouble with the Leaf.

Nagato was really weakened before he fought Naruto after he destroyed the leaf with Almighty push. Konan even said the six were recovering much slower since the last time the jutsu was used. So Naruto fought in sage mode but used it reaptively thank to his clones and Pain still got him even in a weakened state.

@MPEGK It does not mean Naruto is superior to Itachi, if Itachi lost to Pain it could have been the case where Itachi's abilities did not provide an edge against him (doujutsu user vs doujutsu user.) Naruto has an entirely different ability pool to the both of them which could give him an advantage against one due to the differences but not necessarily an advantage to the other. Naruto would be lost with one Tsukiyomi.

Also even if Itachi had Rinnegan he still lacks suffienct chakra to use it to its fullest. Just because you have a awesome jutsu doesn't mean you are better if you don't have enough chakra to pull it off. Remember what Kakashi told Sasuke during his traing with the Chidori?

Do you know how Nagato was able to use Rinnegan? it was because he was from UZUMAKI clan.This clan is a descendant of the younger son of Rikudo sennin.Taht is why, to use rinnegan, all Itachi had to do was...gain rinnegan, then get some of the cells of any senju clan descendant not necessarily 1st hokage (Nagato proves it)...and bam!!

Pain just had a lot of chakra left over. Just because he had a lot ofchakra left doesn't mean he wasn't weakened though. A anonolgy is having a lot of chakra but you sustained a heavy wound.

it was only thanks to the nine tails why Naruto was even free, well also thanks to hinata. So his sage mode still got pawned by Pain. Naruto just got lucky when he started the fight because Pain was in a weakened state, if he wasn't and they both fought at full strength, Pain would have been the victor if he didn't go threw all the trouble with the Leaf.

@MPEGK Wrong about the Pain theory dude. Pain exausted at least half of his chakra fighting The leaf, Naruto was at full stength and had help from several of the toads to aid him. Nagato was really weakened before he fought Naruto after he destroyed the leaf with Almighty push. Konan even said the six were recovering much slower since the last time the jutsu was used. So Naruto fought in sage mode but used it reaptively thank to his clones and Pain still got him even in a weakened state.

@MPEGK It does not mean Naruto is superior to Itachi, if Itachi lost to Pain it could have been the case where Itachi's abilities did not provide an edge against him (doujutsu user vs doujutsu user.) Naruto has an entirely different ability pool to the both of them which could give him an advantage against one due to the differences but not necessarily an advantage to the other. Naruto would be lost with one Tsukiyomi.

Also even if Itachi had Rinnegan he still lacks suffienct chakra to use it to its fullest. Do you know how Nagato was able to use Rinnegan? it was because he was from UZUMAKI clan.This clan is a descendant of the younger son of Rikudo sennin.Taht is why, to use rinnegan, all Itachi had to do was...gain rinnegan, then get some of the cells of any senju clan descendant not necessarily 1st hokage (Nagato proves it)...and bam!!

He could easily make this discovery based on his genious and talent within few years on his own. but he didn't.he didn't have time (or didn't want to?).But you should remember that itachi is almost 1/3 of Madara's age and he knows everything Madara does about Sharingan.EVERYTHING!!

Itachi...if not far more talented...is at least superior than Madara in skill and intelligence...if not in knowledge of sharingan and physical strength.The latter two can be achieved afterwards in enough time.But former two are just unique to true geniuses only.IF....and that is a big IF....Itachi had TIME---read it carefully---enough TIME...then he could rape Madara with his both hands tied to his back. So there im finished argueing. Its clear evidence that Madara is the strongest character in Naruto being second to only the Sage of the Six Paths. Why else would it have to take all of the five Kages to fight him at once to even stand a chance? Itachi could never surpass Madara no matter how hard he tried. So if you going to argue more it will only make you look more and more stupid because I clearly have more evidence and facts to prove Madara's stronger in every way than Itachi.

@Aman066 Another thing the Susanoo isn't indestructable. Madara could attack behind Itachi's where his yata mirror can't block with his fire style and melt the bitch. And yes it can be melted just like the Mizukage used her mist and lava to melt Sasuke's Sasanoo. So just because Itachi has very powerful abilites like that it doesnt make him the absolute victor in the fight. Madara being as smart and cunning also a master of the Sharigan will know these weakness's making Itachi's susanno useless.

@MPEGK Yes you are correct.Madara does not have the right DNA to support Rinnegan on his own....he needed 1st Hokage's cells to do this.Nagato did not need it because he is from Uzumaki clan.Both sufficient physical energy (younger brother) and dojutsu+spiritual energy (elder brother) are needed to operate Rinnegan.That is why he needed cells from senju clan (younger brother's descendants).

Okay 1st of all Madara did have rugular MS when he fought the 1st hokage he got EMS later when his eyes site was severally damaged from frequently battleing the 1st hokage idiot. Also even with Susanoo that Itachi has every Susanooo has a weakness. Madara could easily attack from underground beneath Itachi's feet making it a easy win just like how Gaara used his sand on Madara so Susanoo won't help Itachi at all so there goes his most power jutsu out the window.

Eternal MS to Madara and regular MS to Itachi (at loss) : Madara Wins
Eternal MS to both : Itachi Wins
Rinnegan to Madara and good old regular MS to Itachi (huge loss) : Madara Wins
Rinnegan to Madara and enough time to Itachi to gain rinnegan by himself (dead easy for him of course) : Now that is a fight the anime community will not forget. I think Itachi will win :)
