Long story short, I doubt anyone will go out and spend the money to switch...no matter what, so why do people argue about this still? I had a lot of ps2 games, and my ps2 was broken, so it was the natural choice
are you using the FCS with the 400 lock on speed? i haven't tried any sniper set ups, but i have a laser rifle/rifle set up and i use the FCS with 400 lock on speed then tune my AC max aim precision and max lock on speed and you'll be surprised how fast those crosshairs line up. i don't even see them half the time i just look at the target and it turns red (if i'm in range of course) but i haven't tried sniper setups

Lol, looks like my ould philosphy won't work. It goes something like this:
Screw the extensions, left arm blade, and back units. Make the lighests, most manuverable AC, give it a good, long range, single lock system, and give it a Karawsawa. It works really well... for me.
im selling my Wii so i can get An Xbox 360 =D... gears of war and AC4 and Oblivion and GH2 just beat the crap outa Wii... even though Zelda was good this game will be better=D
Looking at this the six axis controller would have been a nice "upgrade" tilting it quickly to get a quick boost would be really helpful. Oh well its not like I can afford a PS3 and I don't like any other games on XBOX...For those looking for voice chat...use skype cause suposedly even XBOX voice chat is not "IN GAME"

surprisingly, it's actually a huge pain in the ass to attempt to center your target on the first shot. at least it was in the older versions, so sniping was like obsolete.
I don't expect it to be any different this time around. if you attempt to fire at some dude who's on the left side of your screen with a shaky lock on, you're not gonna hit him.
seriously dude try it when you get the game. you'll see what I mean. locks don't mean jack if you can't line it up with a gun like that.
and the RoF is impossible to deal with anyways, so it's definitely a freakin hard setup to use.
But seriously, don't take my word for it if you don't believe me. Try it. Sniper setups are freakin impossible-- and were pretty much useless in the past
Personally, I prefer to get in close to my opponemts and try to take em out with the Moonlight sword, hate goin long distance.

Well, considering the lock box for all ACs is the entire screen, I think it's pretty hard not to get a lock.

Neaaat. Sniper cannon. I';ve never been a good sniper myself, but that looks kickass.
Btw, can you damage/destroy enemy AC parts with that cannon? Since it's supposed to be a Sniper cannon and all.

Yeah, the sniper cannon is a good weapon, but it's heavy. You might have a hard time equipping it on a lightweight Next.
