Demographics matter in American politics and my sense is that the Tea Baggers represent the last, howling protest against the steady, inevitable change in these demographics. Obama demanded an honest accounting. Moreover, the Bush tax cuts for the economic elites cost the treasury trillions in lost revenue and failed to deliver on the promise increasing the prosperity of the middle class. The decision to save GM has paid off beautifully, saving thousands of jobs.

The men who are really in charge are 'invisible' and untouchable. The president is a front to keep the people subordinant to the elite members conducting their covert operations giving us the illusion of a democracy. Okay - I'll put it in Braille for you. Refugees streaming out of Libya were going to Tunisia and Egypt. Their governments are too fragile to handle such an influx. If you listened to the president's speech, like an adult, you'd have caught this. Rather than wait until civilians were being machine gunned down in the streets - on a scale much more massive than presently - Obama acted.
