  • when design logo using more than 2 type of font just destroys the logo. stick to one or max two font types. - basics of graphic standard. on the end your logo is hard to read - one of major mistakes that happens when you use more then 2 fonts.

  • do you have to pay to get it?

  • Ctrl stands for control.

  • Loved it! Thanks.

  • I found this tutorial very good indeed.

I am in the process of to developing a web site and will be starting an Illustrator course this weekend.

So far I have never used the program, so was just looking up to see the basics, so at least I don't start the course, looking like a dummy.

I'll be wanting to design a logo, including a symbol and some text so found this tutorial very helpful.

This tute is for noobs. Those who are insufferably over-critical shouldn't even be watching this...

  • How much depth do you expect under such time constraints? He did fine IMO. There's a thing or two to take from this video if you listen objectively.

  • Yes but as a logo there are some major mistakes like, alignment, spacing and size. Also, his fonts. I highly doubt they're 'free' to use. People need to understand you can't go using any old font you find. Be careful.

  • No, it's the "Ka-Tarl" key!

  • I know! it seems it will be less effort to say control.
