@upstrucker66 But it's Not the original line-up - Keith Furgusson was the best bass-player ever. He was on the first 4 albums and had a style that sounded like no-one else. Also on the first 5 Tail Gators albums after he left the T-Birds (fantastic blues/rockabilly/surf). He passed away,R.I.P., but left behind a lot of great music. With his leopard-skin top, leather studded pants and ear-ring all-a-dangly, PH looks like he's from The Spiders From Mars - just in time for their hit "Tuff Enuff".

I saw the T-Birds live at Fiesta in SA, TX about 25 years ago. They had a modest stage and had burned it to ashes by the end of their show. JV was awesome then, but since leaving the 'Birds has never been as impressive in my opinion.

Love Jimmie to death but he just doesn't seem to have the same fire as he did when he was with the T-Birds... something just seems missing in his playing... I think he needs this good ol' butt rockin' Austin vibe to get back to were he belongs... IMHO!
