@15keili15 but ensiferum isn't so good with Petri. Jari Mäenpää was good. but now he sings in Wintersun and the album will be out right after half life 3 comes (fucking long time) and I think that Aleksi is a good singer for norther, but changes the music, not to worse or better..

Norther without Perti is not the same, but Ensiferum with Perti i a way better than with Jari

At first I didn't like Aleksi or Norther since he joined. My problem was that I was expecting it to be the same as before. It's not as good as Petri era Norther, but it isn't BAD. It's basically a different band now, that's what upset me, I think.

The big shift in the finalnd muscians:

Jari Maenpaa started out with Ensiferum

Petri Lindroos started out with Norther

Aleksi starter out with Imperanon.

Jari wanted to make his own music so he made his solo project called Wintersun.

With Jari gone , Ensiferum needed a new singer and lead guitarist so Perti filled their spot.

For a little bit Petri was in both bands Norther and Ensiferum until Norther kicked him out.

Norther got new singer Alekski Sivonen and the guitarist from Naildown.

Well with Petri their music was more heavy more technical with Aleksi they are turned into the new wave melodath bands it is ok it is a change but if the add more double pedal hits with the bassdrum on thier songs and more heavy riffs and some basslines that can be noticed even to untrained ears their would be a very badass band for me they will be perfect!

We all know it, that the new album with the new singer is, and we have to accept it. Aleksi copes with it well - Norther is still Norther, with something new, and they're still playing very good. (sorry for mistakes :)

@xthefunbunx Man the clean vocals FUCKED THIS SONG UP BIG TIME???? What is happening to all the good finnish bands, COB is in the shitter, and now this? The gothenburg vocal and sound is still there but this is borderline metalcore, sorry but I said it because its true. I still respect them as a band though, one hiccup means nothing when they have a legacy of greatness.

And there's A LOT, and i mean A LOT of gothenburg metal bands that use awesome clean vocals, and i don't think i've ever heard a shitty gothenburg metal band, the worst it's gotten is new In Flames, but that's still not terrible, and new CoB ISN'T FUCKING BAD, their worst album was Blooddrunk and that one wasn't bad, it was okay

@Mephisto2913 Yes but those same LOT of gothenburg metal bands have GOOD clean vocals. The one on this album sounds like some 23 year old skinny kid who missed puberty with nose rings is singing it. New In Flames is no longer a gothenburg metal band IMO and COBs last 2 albums blew hard. So far this year only Omnium Gatherum and Amon Amarth has produced a DECENT album worth listening to.
